Thank you Alina Mae for creating such smooth, flexible casual pants for us Mamas! The feel of these pants are light, cool and ohhhh so comfortable. Upon trying them on, I loved the feel but was so disappointed that they were superrrr long. Even too long for heels and booties. I read the postcard sent with them and saw that the company didn't want us to return but would fix it! I didn't know how that would work being I bought mine from Amazon and not directly from the Alina Mae Maternity site.. But as I was looking at the writing on Amazon saw that they shrink quite a bit. So I figured I'd give it a try and let them shrink in the wash and dryer. They did shrink quite some in length, about 3 inches maybe but the shrinkage definitely worked out for me as I am a petite 4'11. After a few washes I did hem them another 1.5 inches. Will definitely be buying more. I'm trying the cropped cut next hopefully to avoid having to hem so many. ... show more

I really like these maternity pants for work. They are super comfortable and I like that the waist band is adjustable. My one issue is these pants run short. I ordered my “normal” pre-pregnancy size (4-6) and these are short, almost cropped length which is weird for a wide leg pant but I needed them so bad for work I didn’t have a choice. I’m 5’6” so not super tall but these were definitely made for shorter women. I’ve also bought them in different colors/styles and I can say pretty much all have run short - which is why I am docking a star. ... show more

These are so short and they don’t actually look as presented. They’re more like a crop sweatpant. They are however, very comfortable. Just don’t plan on wearing them to work.

Update: adding one star because the company is responsive and stands by their products/services. They reached out after my earlier review with a message and worked to fix the issue to my satisfaction. ————- It’s so hard to find affordable work maternity pants and I really wanted to like these. Ive worn them to work for a few months, and unfortunately they have issues. Honestly, they do not look ok for work or of quality material. They’re like sweat pant material and the maternity panel in the front is a very different color and material, so if your shirt isnt super long (past the crotch after the bump allowance), the different color ribbed-jersey material bump panel is really obvious and ugly. The waist size adjuster is a cool idea, but in reality it means that the elastic can’t be sewn in, so it very easily flips and twists inside the casing whenever you pull the pants up and down or wash them. You can sew it yourself if you are ok with them not being adjustable after that. I tried, but for the price I wish I had just spent slightly more and instead bought a pair of nicer looking maternity pants from a big company. ... show more
