    • What a surprise
I bought this for my vehicle crazy 2 year old grandson, and it's the first toy he runs to when he comes to our house. He's fascinated by the excavator arm and picks up the two little rocks (they look like popcorn covered with plastic) and puts them in the hopper for a long time. It has a tiny dump truck that will hold the two "rocks" that he drives round and carries with him to play with at adult gatherings. I love that everything in this set stows away neatly, so even though it has a lot of parts, they're easy to keep track off. An adult needs to put the stickers on the appropriate locations. It has all the things associated with construction trucks: traffic cones and signs, signal lights on the back of the truck, etc: I think that picking up the rocks with the claw and then putting them in the hopper is a little difficult for young children, because it requires some focus and concentration, but it's probably good for developing fine motor control. If your child struggles with these things, unless he's very interested in machines, this might be frustrating to use. It's also a good way for children to learn to put away their tools, since verything stows nicely in the one big truck. I'd say this was a hit. ... show more

This is an awesome set for little boys. Bought along with the large CAT Construction vehicle set. This is the go-to toy every day. It delivers all the construction vehicles to the yard, monster truck sand to the arena and fits easily in a lap for long car rides. Pros: Big enough for boys to share. My 5yr old loves this today. Will not stop playing with it. It's his "can I take this in the car" toy if you know what I mean. Size is good and is holding up to his rough play.

The little vehicles are metal, so that’s nice. The little rubble balls that come with it though are tiny, if you have younger kids at home. Bought for an almost 4 year old and they love it.

My son loves this truck. It is a large truck but can also be played on like the car ramp with a smaller truck. So entertaining for a little one!

Love the features of this playset that allow for ease of travel. The bucket turns into a handle and there are compartments for the accessories and a couple of cars. My three year old is obsessed with it.
