I got this to add some rhinestone bling to the bandanas I make for my dogs. I've been using glue but some of them fall off on the wash or when the dogs are playing rough. These seem to hold better once they are on. You have to make sure to really hold the iron on them long enough to ensure they are on tight. The Hot Fix beats took longer than I thought they would for the iron to work. I thought it would be pretty quick; place a stone, push it with the iron for a second, and move to the next. It's not that fast. Depending on the size of the stone you might have to hold it for 5 seconds or more. It doesn't sound like a lot but if you're trying to apply a bunch it adds up. You also have to change the tip based on the size stone. That takes a little bit of time to let it cool down enough to handle, find the right size tip, and switch. You definitely want to place all stones of the same size before moving on to the next size. That can be frustrating if you like to lay out a whole pattern first to see what it looks like. I love this assortment of glass beads. I use them on the greeting cards I make. They are very small so I use the Bearly Art glue with the very fine tip. They are assorted by color and size. I will definitely reuse the organizer the beads come in. Included with the beads is a 'wax' pencil to help you 'pick up' the beads to put them on your card. These are flat backed so they sit beautifully where you put them. I will definitely reorder these and I will order in different colors.
