    • Great book...but beware the awful shipping!
Format: Hardcover
What can you say about the book? I mean, it's awesome...you knew it would be; it is. Pages upon pages upon pages of artwork...if you're a MvsC fan, it's absolute bliss. It's a BIG book too, about coffee table size. Great material, heavy page stock, excellent color. The shipping, on the other hand, is atrocious. The picture you see from others are completely accurate. I was somewhat-lucky in that mine was only damaged in two corners, and just a small bit. I was going to try to return it, but they're just going to ship you another with *no* packing what-so-ever, so if you happen to get it and it's only *slightly* damaged, count yourself lucky. I'm not kidding, they put *one* air bag-thing in there...that's it. The book just bounces around the box all the way to your door... ... show more

    • Marvel vs. Capcom: Ultimate Complete Works – A Must-Have Art & History Collection
Format: Hardcover
If you are a fan of fighting games, Capcom, or Marvel characters, Marvel vs. Capcom: Ultimate Complete Works is an absolute gem and a must-have addition to your collection. This book covers the full artistic and historical journey of the legendary Marvel vs. Capcom series, starting from The Punisher and X-Men: Children of the Atom, all the way through to Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite. It includes content from the following titles: • The Punisher • X-Men: Children of the Atom • Marvel Super Heroes • X-Men vs. Street Fighter • Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter • Marvel vs. Capcom • Marvel vs. Capcom 2 • Marvel vs. Capcom 3 • Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 • Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite One of the strongest points of this book is how it showcases the evolution of character artwork across each game. You can clearly see how Capcom’s art style developed over the years—from pixel-based sprites to high-definition character designs—while still preserving the unique identity of each character. In addition to the artwork, the book includes short but informative character profiles, especially for Marvel characters. These sections explain who the characters are and highlight their first appearance in Marvel comics, which adds historical value and makes the book enjoyable even for readers who are more into comics than games. The print quality is excellent, the artwork is vibrant and detailed, and the layout is clean and easy to follow. Whether you are a longtime fan of the Marvel vs. Capcom series or a collector of art books and gaming history, this book truly stands out. Final Verdict: A beautiful, well-crafted book that celebrates the legacy of Marvel vs. Capcom. Highly recommended for fans, collectors, and anyone who appreciates game art and crossover history. ... show more

    • Worth the money, solid piece of video game memorabilia
Format: Hardcover
As a huge fan of this fighting game franchise I am enamored by the illustrations, fan art, and game sprites. This book is a must have for any fighting game enthusiasts. This artbook not only includes official game art work but promotional artwork from regional consoles and arcade cabinets. I also got it for an affordable price. I hope Udon keeps making more of these Capcom art books. Personally, I would recommend a Power Stone, Devil May Cry, or Capcom vs SNK artbook and I would get them in a heartbeat. I am very happy with my purchase as a huge Marvel vs Capcom fan. ... show more

This is a collector's dream right here. I loved every ounce of artwork & behind the scenes stuff towards the making of all of the games especially the stage designs from XMen: COTA & Marvel Super Heroes. Also I liked the different artists with the pin up art. Eric Vedder & Long Vo delivered
