I got these Captain America themed high tops with high expectations, they meet them handily. They look even better in person. This licensed production has the same sole pattern as some other shoes I've gotten with popular character themes. The only issue I had with the other ones was the pull tab on the back of the shoes ripped out very quickly. This design eliminates the pull on tab and doesn't have that issue possibility. After that note, they are stunning. The material is smooth, the colors are vivid. There is nothing I would change about these shoes. From a parental standpoint, I can see them being the shoes that desparately need to be kept clean to preserve the "WOW" factor that they have when you first open the box. Any little kid who loves the First Avenger would love to have these shoes. They present better than the stock photos actually show. Very high end looking, especially for a kids shoe. At $40 they scream birthday present, in my opinion.

My son had been on me for new shoes and since he’s deep in his Captain America era these were an easy call. As soon as we opened the box, his whole face lit up with straight joy. The design is legit, it looks even better in person, and he hasn't stopped wearing them since. They fit true to size, which is always a relief when ordering online and they’ve held up great through a full day of playground battles, backyard sprints, and superhero poses. The shield detail is clean, the colors pop, and they lace up snug for a good and secure fit. He's basically treating them like part of his uniform at this point. If your kid’s into Cap or just wants something bold and fun, these are a win. Overall, 5 stars because they look awesome, fit great, and made my little guy feel like a hero.

I grabbed these captain America shoes for my son to wear to the premiere of the new captain American movie. They fit perfectly and they look great on. Id say they're true to size but they do run a little big. I like the overall look and design and they're comfortable and easy for him to tie and walk in.
