I haven’t used it yet but it seems fine. However, it is labeled made in China. The Marucci site talks about their bats being made in Louisiana which was a deciding factor in my decision to buy it as I avoid all products made in China, a Communist country. Marucci and Amazon are misleading buyers.

This bat snapped in half at the second game my son used it in. It broke in half as he hit the ball while batting. He was loving it up to this point! I’m thinking this particular bat had a defect.

My kid absolutely loves this bat! The sweet spot is huge and the hits he gets off of it are solid ropes to the outfield. His hands don’t hurt and he actually prefers this bat to his normal Demarini CF Zen.

Marucci never disappoints !! My 14 year old son does not want any bat other than Marucci Cat. The Cat8 is amazing. It is powerful and has less "swing sting". The anti-vibration knob is definitely a plus ! The sound of the ball coming off the bat is undeniably his favorite sound. He is a powerful hitter and this bat is perfect. Awesome bat. My 13 year old loves it however with this pandemic he hasn’t got much use of it. He used it in February during practice and was hitting bombs.

My 12 year old is really enjoying this bat. Easy to handle, has great pop, no sting on contact, and much more lightweight than what we were expecting with a BBCOR bat.
