We have found it unnecessary to buy the latest year Bat model. It's more important to buy a good bat-year bat from the maker. This bat was a replacement for a 2019 much used Louisville Slugger Solo that handle broke - but was a favorite of my almost 14-year old. The Solo swings noticably lighter. The heavier swing and break-in period caused initial misgivings but after a couple BP outings and practices, this bat has more pop than the Solo if initially less bat control - until he strengthens us. My only personal negative is the CATs signature loud "ping" even though bbcor. ... show more
