Received last evening and put together this morning - was as easy as promised (and I'm a woman). Craftsmanship is very good and I'm very happy with this product and ready to slide into place and hook up my electronics.. My 55" TV will fit perfectly on this item just as I had researched it - yet it doesn't take up a huge footprint. The hardware was already installed on the furniture (door closures, locking mechanisms etc,) which helped make it so easy. I like the door to help hide cords etc in bottom section ... show more

I'm really happy with this. The 2 drawbacks: a couple pieces wouldn't "lock" in place. There are some plastic pieces that say "lock" & "open". The pieces of wood need to be "locked" in place. Two of those would not "lock". That's what took long to figure out. So It was about 2 hours or a bit more to put together. That doesn't count the time to take out of the box to check all was ok as delivered, it was! And then we broke down all the cardboard to put it in the recycling bin, which also took a long time. That would happen with any product though. We finally ignored the 2 places that wouldn't lock & it was put together & I think & hope it will be sturdy in spite of that. I love how it looks in my living room. All my cords are well hidden & fit all I wanted to put in it perfectly. The other slight drawback is off gassing. It smelled pretty bad for a couple days, but it is dissipating. ... show more

I normally don't write product reviews as I don't believe the veracity of most of them. Finally there is a piece of furniture that you can put together in 10 minutes without any difficult screws. The locking System for this furniture is brilliant. It is sturdy and secure and is also easy to unlock if needed. I missed putting in two of the dowels, and was able to unlock the pieces to put the dowels back in, then relock it in a breeze. The whole thing literally took only 10 minutes to put together. I find that the quality of products from Vietnam is overall very good. I would definitely buy another piece of furniture from this company again. ... show more

I was a little skeptical about paying the price on this furniture and ordering mail order. Then when I received, it stayed in a box for a while because I was intimidated by having to assemble. I could tell by the weight of the box that this was no particle board joke. I finally got tired of staring at my tv sitting on top of a box, so I decided to at least take the parts out. I started putting parts together per the instructions, and even though it says it takes two people (and honestly would be much easier to do so) I put the darn thing together by myself ! I love it and get compliments all the time on it. Such a sturdy and attractive piece. Would have no problem buying from this company again. The locking system they use for putting the parts together is amazing and ingenious !! ... show more
