I couldn’t be happier with this desk. Great detailing with very solid construction. The Amazon delivery men that put it upstairs in the room huffed & puffed carrying this. (definitely opt for the very affordable delivery-to-room). It is fully assembled except for putting the 8 feet on (2 bolts apiece). It is incredibly well packed with 2 full-sized fiberboard pieces slightly larger than the size of the desktop packed with the desk - one on top, and one on the bottom, to protect the desk from the box corners being crushed against the desk. Also packed with Heavy-duty foam with cardboard at the corners and a brace was screwed between the left and right tiers to prevent flexing while shipping. Arrived in absolutely perfect condition. The desktop is solid and glossy feeling - not a thin, easily scratched paint job or micro-thin veneer. Feels very solid and durable. The power outlets on the top are awesome, with a heavy gauge plug to put into your wall. The back of the desk hides the plug and looks fantastic and finished. Hopefully the pictures and video show the quality well. The drawer pulls and slide out computer tray (on bottom right) are solid and have very smooth action. This desk really is much nicer than the pictures show. I work from home and have my laptop and a PC with a 27" monitor with no problems. I did want to move the tower off the floor so ended up taking the right drawer and sliding shelf out so it would fit....works for me. Very sturdy and excellent quality. I paid the extra for them to put it in the room and it was a good choice as I have a bad back (note: they did not however, put the legs on it). Would not hesitate to buy this, you will love the build quality and the 360 degree finish. ... show more

Pros: It's a nice desk for the price. There is no assembly needed except for putting on the feet. All the drawers work smoothly. The design is attractive. Shipping is free, but you will need help getting it inside because it is heavy due to the particle board on the back and most likely under the top. Cons: The entire back is particle board and the space between the two pedestals is large, so this creates a weak area prone to cracking. Mine had cracked slightly on both sides and I didn't notice it until the delivery men left. I wouldn't have refused it anyway as the cracks are minor, but I can see where that could be an issue. The Color: The company should not be calling the "white" one white. It is not white at all. During the day with the window blinds open it and the sun shining directly on it, it appears to be sort of a creamy beige color, but at night with the lights on it changes to a much darker color with a yellowish-greenish hue which is not an eye-pleasing color and definitely not if your walls are a warm color like mine. I'm thinking of contacting Martin Furniture to find out if I can paint it. The top is very nice looking, though. Recommendation: I would not recommend, especially not the "white" one. ... show more

It took weeks and weeks to deliver! The quality is good but I received it with scratches on many drawers and a big scratch on the top right corner. This is very disappointing given the price of the desk. Customer service answers messages very late and they blame everything on the manufacturer. To ship this back to them, you will pay over 500 dollars (UPS ground). STAY AWAY FROM THEM! ... show more

This is a beautiful and solid credenza but the color does NOT match the Amazon pictures. We have two Martin book cases purchased about 3 years ago in the white that is French country. Those are white but this is almost a green gray.

The desk was delivered assembled except for the legs which were easy to screw on. Features I liked: hanging file drawer on left, cable cutout on back, 2 power receptacles and 3 USB receptacles on top, slide out keyboard drawer, I wanted to put my printer in the right hand cabinet but it would not fit as it was a bit too wide. There is plenty of room on top for a printer however. I used the cabinet for storage. Its a well-built good-looking desk that requires two people to put it in place. Really nice looking credenza/desk. Functions as described. Lovely colors. One problem: The included hub 'USB/electric plug' had broken way from the desk when I got it.
