These shoes are a sturdy as they are worth. I got them for myself for a trip I was going to take later on this month and got a usual 9.5 that I am. Sadly the shoes are way too narrow, so if you wear wide shoes, these aren't for you. I gave them to my nephew to wear and they fit him just fine. He has only had them about two weeks from me buying them and they are already falling apart on the heel. The material isn't sturdy enough for heavy use. It seems like a foam type of material that I figured wasn't going to last long. and they are not nonslip shoes. If you want a shoes to last you at least one adventure these are the shoes for you. Remember, you get what you pay for. These shoes do not hold up so buyer beware.
