  • FOR ANYONE HAVING LAG/CONNECTION ISSUES
Edition: Luigi Set
If you plan to play on your TV. And you are experiencing lag. To get the best connection possible - use a Nintendo LAN-USB adapter and also PLUG YOUR CONTROLLER IN WITH A USB CABLE. I tried so many things to get the most accurate driving experience through the camera. I tried a Wifi extender, and I tried more lighting but nothing was helping much. Plugging the Pro Controller in with a 20ft USB cable fixed almost all of the lag issues I was having. It also helps to have to Nintendo switch console in the same room as your race track. So if you have to, running a longer HDMI cable along with a longer Internet cable would be best. This product is so much fun if you have the resources to set it up correctly!! I really hope they come out with Princess Peach One other thing I noticed is that the Mario version's wheel rims pop off easily for cleaning, but I couldn't get the Luigi wheels off. There is an issue with hair getting wrapped up in the wheel rims, but it can be cleaned out. ... show more

  • Really fun!
Edition: Luigi Set
I had a lot of fun with the kart and it syncs really well to play the game. You don't even need internet to play it. The only thing I would say is depending on your home condition, make sure your floor is clean cause my kart wheels have been collecting a lot of dust and when it happens, I suggest to clean them just in case it doesn't occur worse. Overall, really fun to play with the kart and the gameplay brings back to classic Mario Kart but this time on your home; can be more fun with pets as long as they don't bite it. Altho the other note you may want to keep in mind is if you want to play multiplayer, you will need to buy multiple karts which can be expensive and for me, I only got 1 kart and not a lot of other people to play with me since it's Local racing. Also, I brought this really early for $100 and it remain that for a short duration. Definitely be careful buying it from other companies or people selling higher price since a lot of people had been hoarding the karts. ... show more

  • Skeptical at First, Now Fully Recommend
Edition: Luigi Set
I was very skeptical of buying this when it came out, but since this was my son's number one on his Christmas list, I hovered on Amazon until I could get it for the actual cost and not above value. It was WELL worth purchasing. My kids play this almost every day at home. A few things: 1. The more you child plays, the more they unlock. It REALLY is just like regular Mario Kart where they play against other characters on screen and unlock outfits, cars, etc. 2. You child CAN cheat. Mine makes the tracks really hard for the computer characters and then gives himself "short cuts" so he always wins (LOL) 3. It works great on carpet and hardwood. On hardwood, when hitting a "boost" or upping the CC's you do see an increase in the cars speed on the floor. We didn't see this on carpet, but it still works great, with no issues. 4. The accessories are cardboard and although my kids are taking care of them, they have already ripped. I'm very disappointed in this as for the price they should have been something other than cardboard. The one good thing is the sensors are in the top of the "gates", so if they do happen to completely fall apart, the sensor top can be reattached to something else and still register in the game. 5. Beware that your kids will use this to "spy" on everyone in the house. My son thinks it's hilarious that he can sit in his room and hide the car anywhere in the house to randomly start driving it to see what everyone is doing without leaving his room. ... show more

  • Innovative, massively fun, loads of laughs, definitely worth $100.
Edition: Luigi Set
The media could not be loaded. This game is so cool. It feels like a real Mario kart game on the console even though the toy kart looks slow in real life. So innovative and so much fun-and the thing just works perfectly. You can even drift lol. And my cats like to join in which is not only hilarious but looks like a giant monster is chasing or batting at your kart. This is my favorite Switch accessory so far. ... show more

  • It's a darned cool way to play!
Edition: Luigi Set
There's a lot of learning as it relates to the game and how it should be set up and played. The game is primarily played in the mario kart live application. This is the realm where the computer opponents live and operate. And because of this, local/physical obstacles are completely ignored by the computer opponents. So as a rule, it's fun to set up physical decorations on your tracks, but unless an obstacle is mapped into the game by driving WIDELY around it (Say for example something that resembles a large statue?) the computer opponents will drive right through following the road you mapped out. The driving experience vs the physical RC car experience are very different and it's sometimes disorienting to switch AR and RL (real life) modes. Best recommendation is to "stay in game" while racing, but the moment you collide with something like a table leg or even get into a collision with another human player, put your eyes on the actual car and get yourself back onto the track, then return your eyes to the screen. Computer-world obstacles and computer players will also interrupt your progress and it will not make sense if you're not looking at the game screen. ... show more

  • Funciona perfecto!! El kart es tal cual la imagen
Edition: Luigi Set
... show more

  • This was the BEST present!!
Edition: Luigi Set
I was doubtful that this was as good as advertised, but it’s awesome!! It actually drives well on both carpet and tile. My son loved making obstacles to go around and said it was the BEST present he received! The gates are cardboard, and I worry a little about them holding up long term. We fold them back up and store them in the box. It’s only a one player (per switch) game. I hear you can do two player with two switches, but haven’t tried it yet. ... show more
