When I first saw the Margot Elena Seasonal Discovery Holiday Beauty Gift Set, I was instantly impressed with the care and consideration that the manufacturer had placed in the presentation. The cardboard box holding the set was simply designed with line drawings of flowers and the name, Margot Elena, and was complimented with a sticker that states, "She has arrived." Once opened, the front panel of the box states, "From M.E. to you" while the inside panel states, "Margot Elena Winter Charm Subscription Box, Number 28, Winter 2024." Each item is carefully wrapped in tissue paper. The items include: Tokyomilk Star Cross'd Eau De Parfum - 1 fluid ounce Lollia Dream Body Butter - 5.5 ounces Archive Yet To Be Written Hand Cream - 4 ounces M.E. Essential Luxuries Bottle Opener Lollia Wish Fine Bathing Salts - 7.5 ounces Library of Flowers True Vanilla Shower Gel - 8 fluid ounces M.E. Snow Falling Candle - 3 ounces Tokyomilk Signature Stationery Set - 3 Cards (Christmas/Happy Birthday/Happy Valentines Day) Card Stating Contents and Retail Value Prices The one common theme amongst all of the body products is that it had a clean, bright, natural, and romantic fragrance. The Tokyomilk Star Cross'd Eau De Parfum has distinct scent notes of Citrus, Frankincense, and Vetiver with soft floral notes that create a warm and comforting scent. The bottle is the ideal size to take with you on the go when travelling as it can be tucked into a carry-on bag with no issues. The scent is long lasting. The Lollia Dream Body Butter is one of my favorite items of the set. It is a thick and creamy body butter that has a romantic fragrance from white tea and honeysuckle. It is made with skin friendly ingredients including safflower seed oil, shea butter, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, avocado oil, and cocoa seed butter while also including natural ingredients like orange peel extract, panax ginseng root extract, and punica granatum extract. The butter is easy to apply and absorbed into my skin quickly. The fragrance is very clean and remains lightly on my skin. The Archive Yet To Be Written Hand Cream is held in a large tube and placed in a decorative manufacturer box. Once I removed the tube, I found a cute bookmark that states, "For explorers, soul searchers, day dreamers, & deep thinkers. The next chapter awaits." It has a lovely blue paisley pattern. The inside of the box also includes a Ralph Waldo Emerson saying, "Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year. Surprisingly, the protective seal of the tube requires it to be punctured but the lid of the container (that usually should be able to create the opening) was flat and unable to do so. The thick cream lotion has a refreshing fragrance of grapefruit and neroli. A little product goes a long way thereby making this tube last longer than I had thought it would. The hand cream is made with a blend of nourishing ingredients including shea butter, aloe, cucumber, and macadamia nut oil. It absorbed into my skin quickly and after weeks of use, it made a noticeable improvement to my skin making it softer to the touch. The Bottle Opener is a sleek looking piece that helped me open bottles of my favorite wine effortlessly. The Lollia Wish Fine Bathing Salts are placed in a paper bag prior to being placed in a lovely manufacturer carton. The salts dissolved easily and have a sensual fragrance that I love. It made my bath extra calming and soothing. The Library of Flowers True Vanilla Shower Gel is a golden colored gel that lathers beautifully into a full and frothy lather with a warm and comforting vanilla fragrance. It rinsed off easily and left no residue feeling behind. It cleansed my skin well while also leaving it feeling moisturized. The M.E. Snow Falling Candle smell like the trees in the forest and immediately made me think of a Christmas tree. The candle is held in a round tin container that can be washed and re-purposed after the candle is finished. The Tokyomilk Signature Stationery Set is made up of 3 adorable cards. The cards are made with a high quality paper and have 3 unique designs on the cover while blank on the inside. The majority of the items are Made in the USA with only the Bottle Opener Made in China (PRC - People's Republic of China). I was really impressed with the quality of the products included in this set and how much care was placed in the overall presentation. I fell in love with all of the products and am now inspired to look at other offerings by Margot Elena. I highly recommend that you consider this for the next gift you plan to give a loved one or even yourself.

Although I had heard of TokyoMilk (from fragrance sites and forums), this was my first experience with their products. And what a wonderful experience! This seasonal box is can be purchased as a stand-alone or as a subscription. Oh, it would absolutely be a year of indulgence to have the subscription, so don’t hesitate if you wish to pamper yourself or someone you care to impress. This winter box arrived sealed in its own reusable box. Each item wrapped in tissue paper with a layer of bubble wrap on the bottom and also around fragile items. The box is of substantial weight, so you know before you unwrap anything that you’re being spoiled with full size items. The fragrance wafting from the box is a delicious and ephemeral cloud of marshmallow-y vanilla with a hint of spice. This box includes: 1. Library of Flowers True Vanilla Shower Gel in an 8 ounce tube. A decadent immersive vanilla experience! This tube was also protected by a resealable plastic bag, as well as an inner foil seal. 2. Archive Yet to be Written handcream. This is a rich blend of shea butter, macadamia seed oil, aloe and cucumber with the perk of citrus. It’s in a tube and beautifully boxed in a slide out presentation box. 3. Lollia Dream white tea and honeysuckle body butter. This is cocoa butter based, with a smooth consistency. It’s moisturizing without being greasy. The scent is sumptuous but at the same time delicate. 4. A small tinned candle, “snow falling” with a smile-inducing wintery scent of pine and balsam. 5. Lollia Wish bath salts. This is the scent that wafted from the gift box upon opening. Absolutely delightful! 6. Star Cross’d perfume spray. This is a citrus-centric fragrance. If you like a deep and strong citrus scent with the tiniest hint of spice, this is for you. I found it leaned more to the aftershave side of unisex fragrance with my body chemistry. My personal taste is usually not for fruity fragrances or most citrus fragrances, and especially not in the winter when I joyfully dip into my stash of resin based (like Opoponax) fragrances or spiced florals. This is a matter of preference, and not in any way a deficit to this curated set. Part of the box experience should be in trying things outside of your “usual”. I applied it in the evening and there was still a faint scent of it lingering by morning. 7. A boxed “waiters” style wine/bottle opener. Perfect for at home or travel. This gift/subscription box is indulgent. It’s beautifully presented. And it’s an excellent value.
