I have 4 sets of these glasses. 2 are black and 1.00 power, 1 is a black 1.25, and the last is a blue and 2.00 power. The blue model is much better-built than the black models, the hinges do not require constant maintenance with a screwdriver. But, in the end, these are all decent readers for a fraction of the cost you'd expect to pay elsewhere. For the life of me, I do not understand why there aren't more reader glasses that don't have larger, square frames like these, they're far more stylish and practical than those tiny rectangular glasses (aka, the ones your dad wore), which is why I keep buying these. My biggest complaint: hard-to-remove stickers on the lenses of every model. DEAR SELLER, I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO SCRAPE OFF STICKERS ON THE MIDDLE OF THE LENS ON EVERY PAIR I BUY FROM YOU. Do you just WANT your consumers to accidentally scratch the lens? Wrap it around the frame so it is easier to remove or just use a paper insert in the box. I recently got my hands on a pair of reading glasses that have really impressed me. The lenses are bigger than any other glasses I've worn before, which makes reading much easier and more comfortable. The lenses are also really clear and bright, so I can see everything on the page with a lot of detail. What I appreciate the most about these glasses, though, is how sturdy and durable they feel. The frames are made with a really high-quality material that doesn't feel cheap or flimsy like some other glasses I've owned in the past. Even after a few weeks of use, they still feel like they're in great condition. Overall, I'm really happy with these glasses. They're not flashy or showy, but they get the job done and do it well. I have been using this model/brand for a few years now. I love the blue blocker lenses and the size and fit of the frames as these are really the only glasses that look right on me. However the frames are soo poorly constructed that the popped an d broke while I was wearing them! I estimate that I have gone through about 2 dozen pairs at this point (4 or 5 pairs per year), and it doesn't help that Amazon ships these flimsy boxes in plastic mailer bags. I would pay more for these if the frames were made to last, but at this point I am done. :( ... show more
