I've never needed a dry bag before, but boy am I glad we picked this brand! Loved the color and the thick material that was used for the bag. The straps were nice and easy to use. I purchased 2 of the 5 liter bags, and wish I had gotten 1 bigger one as I used it as a carry on for my snorkeling gear. On the way home, it was brilliant to be able to use it in my luggage for all the wet stuff I didn't have time to dry on the boat. Next time I'll get a different color and put my name on it...everyone else on the boat had the exact same blue. It's beautiful!

We used this bag to hold our towels on a tubing trip. We just filled the bag, closed it like it showed and tied it to the back of the tube so it would float behind us. It worked fantastic. All 3 towels stayed totally dry. Would definitely recommend! Well worth the price!

bought nov 22 2022 as noted below, i sadly had to cut the shoulder straps off as this was always bought w intention of usage inside my 36l outdoor products hiking backpack well, this dry bag still works welll as the durable inner gab for my hiking backpack still keeps contents dry when needed helps reduce wear/tear on my hiking backpacks rather thin bottom will buy as a beach bag when i need a beach bag as im surrounded by 'em g8 bag g8 value oh and it is now juen 13th 2023 as of this review update, daily usage in my backpack note i have not clipped it shut daily - that only done a couple of times so cannot speak to buckle durability but they seem like your standard heavy duty plastic buckles so i dont see why they would ever fail no reason to buy sea to summit brand or similar as this bag is as good albeit far heavier but mabye this brand sells a lighter version/thinner version. agian this bag is made to be a stnadalone dry bag in a kayak etc i think. so much thicker than my 5L sea to summit bag (which has withstood 8 years of use as my 13 inch laoptop bag) Sadly the straps are not removable seriously i am sad about this as they are so thick and well made i was sad to cut them off lol why? cuz they are so heavy, so padded, that they added seemingly a half or 2/3 lb to my backpack this dry bag is perfect for my 36L hiking backpack with just 1 pocket. i put this 40L dry bag in and it def will add durability esp to bottom of my backpack as i carry electronics laptops etc in it i didnt want to cut the straps cuz of how nice n sturdy they seemed but had to the folding top and closure buckles seem heavy duty the bag is thick dunno thickness but a couple to seve mm?? my sea to summit 5L drybag is prob a 1/3 thick but then again thatbag is meant for inside a backpack or other bag and not as a standalone bag i thik. this orang 40l could easily last by itself - a reviewer in Hi said they've used it for a long time which is why i bought it - they said it lasted beaches salt air etc so i know it can last inside a backpack lol anit is same thickness if not more as my 20L dry bags from Outdoor products - a value brand you can get at walmart whose products all have LIFETIME warranty!!! OP products is also my backpack brand. i have 3 of their bakcpacks. they will always replace your item even years later. i knos cuuze ive done this on 2 items. one was for a frayed chsest strap & other leaking water puch. - point is this 40L orange bag seems as good as OP... will update over time and nope aint gonna fix typos lol
