I've never written this in a review, but this file holder is even sturdier and better designed than I expected from the description. It's nice and heavy, no hint that it couldn't deal with the art supplies I stuffed into it. I couldn't tell from the photos just how big the hooks were, but I took a chance that I could hang it over a door. When it arrived, the hooks turned out to be very easily adjustable--brilliant. How often is something so easy to assemble that it really does take just a minute? And it looks very nice in my newly organized studio.

I love the convenience of this. I intend to use it to sort mail daily for everyone in the house. I’m hoping it will keep my kitchen counter free of clutter and important mail organized for each member of the family. The only thing is the lack of choices as far as colors go. I recently changed my accent colors in the kitchen to aqua/teal. I had several black mesh items that I have painted with acrylic, then sprayed with gloss, and they look great! I can’t wait to finish it to put in my kitchen. Mail clutter be gone with you!

I ordered this to get stuff off my desk. It works well and keeps papers off my desk. My only complaint is with the hooks used to hang it on my cubicle wall. I think the walls are a standard size but this hook was barely wide enough to fit on the top of the cubicle wall. The hook is adjustable and I expanded it as wide as it would go but it’s just a tad too small. It works but could fit a little bit better. Overall, it’s a good item. I will definitely order this again when I need another one.

The media could not be loaded. Likes: It holds many items. It comes with hanging hardware. Dislikes: I was hoping to just set it on my desk instead of hanging it but it is wobbly. It doesn't come with labels.

When I opened the package, I was horrified that the back of the file organizer was bent. I was also slightly irritated, but it probably wasn't the manufacturers fault. This does, however, speak to the sturdiness of the organizer. It's probably not going to survive major impacts, but why would it ever deal with that? I don't recommend dropping it though. It feels flimsy enough that it could cause another dent. I gave this 3 stars because it could stand upright without me attaching it to the wall and it doesn't look too bad. It does the job and it's a similar price to other file organizers you might get. I also popped the back into place, so there's no longer a big dent in it. It's still slightly dented, but it doesn't bother me since it's now in the playroom.

My friend recommended I get a hanging wall file organizer. I have a filing cabinet but this is nice for items I need to attend to (short-term storage). This file folder organizer does the trick. I attached it to the wall but it also comes with over-the-door hooks if you prefer that option. The photo shows files at the top but I probably won't put files in that slot. When I put folders up there they gape open and it looks strange so that will get used for mail or something else. The other slots work great. There is a shelf at the bottom to store misc office supplies (stapler, tape, etc) which is nice to have if you need quick access to anything.

This is the perfect height and size….I put mine directly on my wall and it looks great. I don’t think the tabs are going to work for me because after putting in just a few folders, I couldn’t even see the tabs…..I’ll probably end up just labeling the bottom one that I can see. I’m extremely happy with this hanging wall organizer, fits my office perfectly.

This will be great for my classroom. It comes all assembled so there's no assembly required which is definitely a plus especially if you're going to use this in a school environment where you might not have time to set it up. It is fairly sturdy feeling and pretty solid so it could be used on a desk with just some papers without risk of it falling over. I like that it has five slots which make it perfect for a homework turn in bin or something for the days of the week. Comes with screws so you can mount this directly into a wall or a desk but it also has brackets you could hang it over a door or something. It is a bit high when you hang it from a door but if you had a desk with a ledge or a cubicle wall it would work nicely there too..
