I ordered it to fit on my peg board the holes don't line up so I just used a couple of paeg board hangers cuz they swivel in a little bit I do crafting so I put a couple folders in that I have stencil small stencils and I keep a notebook of ideas so I put that in there I use a lot of sandpaper so in the front I put a couple sheets of sandpaper that I can grab quickly I don't have to get up and go to my drawers to get it it's a regular file holder but it worked great on my board

I wish that I had counted the slots in the picture instead of just believing them that there are 10. There are actually only 9 folder slots. I guess they are counting the shelf as the 10th slot, but I can't put a folder there. In some places it says 10 tiers which makes sense to include the shelf but in other places it says 10 folder slots which should not include the shelf. Oh well. It's fine for what it is. I can live without the 10th slot and it's too hard to return so I will just make do. The file organizer is very simple, clean looking, and otherwise provides what I need. It's easily bent out of shape but you can also just bend it back. It's very functional and I will be able to clean up my paper system while I am working in a way I couldn't before with my 5 folder system.

As you can see from the included pictures it works great as a lid organizer for storage containers. With it hanging on the inside of the kitchen pantry door it's used to keep the lids organized for easy selection wherever leftover food needs to go into a storage container. No more digging through drawers or under the kitchen cabinets looking for matching Tupperware lids which always seem to be so elusive. See my other reviews for the kitchen cabinet organizer drawers used for the storage containers the lids go with. Unlike other similar looking/sized file holders this one doesn't need any assembly. It's quite sturdy because the sections are welded together. While this unit did not come with over-the-door hangers you can purchase them separately on Amazon and the file hanger already has the mounting holes to accommodate door hangers. Use it for files, letters, lids or whatever you need to organize.
