This thing is quite small, so don't expect it to be something that takes care of your electrical needs while camping off grid. This M82SMAX isn't like a large Delta battery pack, with only an 80 watt continuous inverter (120 watt max) and 30,000mAh capacity, it's small and light enough to fit in your hand. It has a modified sine wave inverter instead of pure sine wave, so I wouldn't want to use this as a daily thing for sensitive electronics - but for emergency usage it's fine. And that's exactly what I was looking for because along with a small 21watt solar panel, they fit in an EMP shielded bug out bag perfectly. The problem I had with the various phone charger type of power bricks that easily fit in a backpack is that none of them have an AC outlet. This solves that problem. Now don't go expecting to run a hair dryer off of this, but you can run your laptop for a while. For the cheap price I like to think of it as a nice little have for SHTF scenarios. I was at a fair that I plugged 2 small lamps into. It lasted about 6 hours. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I wish it lasted just a bit longer. Light weight. Lamp on its high setting was very bright.

I love this power station. It is bigger than a traditional portable charger that might fit in your pocket, but I use this for car trips or when I am not near an outlet but might be stationary for a bit. There are multiple ports for cords as well as a plug outlet. It's been perfect for car trips.

Turned on my slow cooker for a while, but barely warmed it and "shorted" but that is a standard trip protection that doesn't mess the machine up. It powered a $15 clip fan with high and low settings! Has a female 12v socket for any "car" appliances you have. Would like to try out a portable 12v cooler on this, but have not yet! Has a handle, seems safe in at any angle. Would take this in the car or camping, and keep for storm emergencies in the home and the car. Could prolong hikes where music is being listened to, also... Wouldn't try anything high wattage, as peak wattage is usually higher than the listed running wattage. Overall only confident in using it for charging other things, fans, and 12v appliances, I guess. ... show more
