I have used these things since I have been a child on vacations. This is the best one I have ever used. I've used the wooden ones, the plastic ones the Japanese ones with the paper. However, this one with the feathers creates the most airflow and without a lot of motion! I run hot often and it's soooo nice to have something to take with me that works well and is super bougie, lol. The one con is it doesn't fold up all the way so it is a little cumbersome but not too bad. I do like how it has the wrist holder as I clip this on my crossbody purse and have it on me wherever I go! Plus, it is very pretty and it gets a lot of head turns, especially that peacock one! This thing is wonderful for the movies, a play, a convention, etc. I think I might get an additional one just so I always have one in my vehicle. I am 6 ft tall with a bigger body frame and when I hold this it doesn't feel mini in my hands like all the other ones! There is a significant diameter to this. If you are a very small woman, petite and skinny it will look big in your hand for sure and might be a little harder to hold all the way open.

I picked this up on a whim for a Roaring ’20s-themed party, mostly because I wanted one thing that made my outfit stand out without going full costume-store ridiculous. This fan totally nailed it. When it arrived, it looked a little sad and flat (vacuum sealed), but I followed the tip and used a hair dryer on it for a couple minutes—and it fluffed right up into something seriously dramatic. At the party, I lost count of how many compliments I got. It felt soft, looked way fancier than I expected, and actually kept me cool when the dance floor got crowded. It was the kind of detail that made me feel like I was channeling some 1920s movie star, which is all I wanted. Even now, I’ve got it hanging on my vanity mirror because it’s just too pretty to put away. Honestly didn’t expect it to be this nice, especially for the price. Super happy I grabbed it.

The black feather fan was part of a costume theme for my friend's 40th party. We were supposed to bring boas and a cool fan, so I decided to get this feather fan, and it looked incredible. I also think it is super nice even for normal use, even though I used it as a costume. Good quality fan for the price; I might buy another one in different colors. I got many compliments from my friends and some strangers who were at the bar we went to. Very cool and cute fan!

It came broken. It looked as if there were too many feather slots for the metal clip to stay connected and hold the feather slots together. I tried to push it through but as soon as it opened it would pop off again.
