it worked for 4 hrs sanding and now will only start every so often. i get that is was cheep but i could have picked up the same tool at harbor freight and had a place to take it back to. i might open it up and see what is wrong and fix it as that might be fun. if you need the tool to work spend the $ and get a name brand . i picked this up because i wasn't sure i would like this kind of tool. i do but this isn't the one to get. ... show more

This product is good in theory, but the noise was so aweful. I used the sanding feature and it hardly worked. You’re working twice as hard just to get it to match the rest of your work. After using on our first set of cabinets the Velcro was no longer sticking to the sandpaper backs! So I was basically able to use this on one project and that’s it! This is a lot heavier and not as easy to handle as was promised. It doesn't actually fit into the nook and crannies as much as I would like. Oh, and it gets super overheated really really quickly. After a few uses the bristles of the Velcro for the sanding attachment has now come off when changing the sandpaper, and obviously glueing it back on with how super heated it gets is a useless exorcise. So it lost another star ... show more

So far, this little tool has worked perfectly for some small cuts I had to around the house. The reason I gave it four stars is that the on/off switch is so hard to push in either direction, it is almost dangerous. Maybe it is an anomaly, but if it is like this on all machines, the manufacturer should switch switches!! ... show more
