This floor cutter makes clean cuts super easy. I compared the cuts that come out of this to the factory edge on my flooring and they are indistinguishable. The long handle allows for plenty of leverage making it easy to cut through difficult materials. The guide is easy to adjust for making 45-degree cuts, that being said they have other angles shown on the cutting surface but no way to use the guide with them unless you want to try drilling your own holes which I suppose could be done easily enough but it would have been nice for them to do that at the factory where they can get it accurate and obviously they have the ability to do it since they did so with the 45-degree markings. The whole tool is very solid and the materials are high quality. I have used a similar cutter at work that was from a big box store and it wasn't as nice as this one is. If you plan on doing a fairly large project with those premium vinyl planks get this for sure, because it will save you a lot of time and sweat and it might even save you some materials that can get expensive fast.

We used this to install several rooms of luxury vinyl plank flooring. They we used it to cut some fiber cement board to make some outside siding repairs. It is lightweight, well designed, solidly built, and super easy to use. The long handle affords plenty of leverage to cut through just about anything. You get a 13" wide cutter here, so you can easily handle about any product around. It even comes with a honing stone to keep your blade super sharp.
