- Dual-Port Digital Manometer for HVAC Checks Measure pressure at one point relative to ambient air or compare pressure between two connected points with one handheld tool. This HVAC manometer helps with duct static pressure, filter differential pressure, blower troubleshooting, ventilation maintenance, and suitable boiler or clean-room applications. It is practical for residential and commercial service calls. For single-port testing, leave the unused port open to still air. For P1P2 differential readings, connect both hoses and press and hold DIF for more than 2 seconds.
- There is no separate ZERO button on this manometer. Before connecting the hoses, leave both ports open to ambient air and press and hold HOLD for more than 2 seconds to clear zero drift. A short press of HOLD freezes the displayed reading, making it easier to check a value when the test point is awkward to reach. Keep the meter away from vibration, strong electromagnetic fields, and sudden temperature changes during measurement.
- Short-press C/F to save the current measurement, then press and hold C/F to leave storage mode. During history review, short-press DIF to move forward or MAX to move back through saved readings, one record at a time. Press and hold UNITS for more than 2 seconds to clear all stored records. Data Hold freezes the screen, while storage saves a record for later review on the device. It is not designed for timestamped logging or data export.
- This QX-1201 digital air pressure gauge measures 20.68 kPa (2.999 psi), with 0.001 kPa and 0.001 psi display resolution. Accuracy is 0.3% FSO at 25C; repeatability is 0.2%, with a maximum of 0.5% FSO; linearity/hysteresis is 0.29% FSO at 25C. The manual specifies a 0.5-second measurement interval. Select from 12 pressure units including kPa, psi, inH2O, mbar, and bar. Err0 indicates pressure above the positive range; Err1 indicates pressure below the negative range. FSO refers to full-scale output, not a percentage of each reading.
- The two hose-barb ports are specified for tubing with a 1/8-inch inside diameter, and one adapter is included with this product configuration. Standard HVAC test ports are often 5/16-inch NPT or 1/4-inch NPT, so a 5/16-inch NPT to 1/8-inch barb adapter may be needed check your test-port thread before ordering. Seat each hose fully on its barb and check for leaks, kinks, or loose connections that could affect the measurement. Use the appropriate static pressure probe when required by your test procedure.
- Use this air pressure meter for HVAC static pressure measurement, filter checks, blower diagnostics, and laboratory vacuum readings within its rated range. For gas appliance testing, confirm that the gas, tubing, fittings, and procedure are suitable, and follow the appliance manufacturer's service instructions. This gas pressure tester measures pressure; it does not detect gas leaks or identify gas composition. It is not a high-vacuum instrument or a gauge for pool and spa high-pressure filters.
- The 1.75 1.95 in (4.45 4.95 cm) backlit display helps HVAC technicians read results in dim basements, crawl spaces, and mechanical rooms. Short-press POWER while the meter is on to switch the backlight on or off. The manometer uses a replaceable 9V battery, with a low-battery indicator at 6.8V or below and automatic shutdown after about 15 minutes without operation. Note that backlight use shortens battery life. Operating ambient temperature is 32122F; storage temperature is 14140F.
- The ABS body with a protective rubber sleeve gives HVAC pros, maintenance professionals, and experienced DIY users a convenient manometer gauge for routine residential and commercial pressure checks. HOLD, DIF, MAX/MIN, and stored-record review help you read and compare measurements during troubleshooting. Accurate and easy to use

This manometer worked great for diagnosing my heater. I was able to get the pressure reading I needed and confirm that everything was operating properly after making the repair. The readings were easy to see and the unit was straightforward to use. For the price, I think this is a great tool to have if you work on HVAC equipment or need to troubleshoot air or gas pressure. I have used this for some time now. It seems ok if you're in a pinch, but I have no way of knowing how accurate it is. I suspect it's not quite as accurate as the more expensive ones, and that can matter depending on your use case.

Easy to use and accurate

I bought this to diagnose an air pressure switch problem in a heating system. A pressure switch that's supposed to close when experiencing a 1.5" WC (Water Column) amount of negative pressure wasn't closing, so I bought this to determine if the switch was bad, or if I have a problem/leak in the combustion chamber (heat exchanger). If you're unaware, pressure as measured in "inches WC" is WAY more sensitive than PSI. I think the conversion is something like 1 PSI is equal to like 27.7 inches water column. And I needed something to detect 1.5 inches water column, which is 0.054 PSI. Many of the analog gauges just aren't good at picking up really low pressures like that. But, one of the modes of this meter is to measure in inches WC, so I decided to try it. The one thing I noticed is, just sitting there, not connected to anything the gauge reads negative 0.27 inches WC, so it's claiming there's a slight vacuum in regular air, which seems unlikely. So, when I connected it to the heating system, it read 1.57 inches WC, so I wasn't sure if that was really 1.57, or if I needed to manually subtract out the 0.27 reading. I wish there was a way to zero the meter out, meaning, I'm at regular atmospheric pressure for my temperature, let's call that zero, so that when I measure the appliance (heater), I can see the delta from normal, but with the extremely short users manual that comes with this, I don't see a way to do it. In the end, the meter showed I had negative pressure in the combustion chamber, which is what's supposed to happen (to prevent carbon monoxide build up), so I guess it worked, I just don't know how accurate it was. But good enough for the weekend HVAC repairer like me.
