The SDMN5 is a portable, rugged dual-port manometer designed especially for HVAC/R field service technicians. Measures gas pressure, static pressure and pressure differential. The SDMN5 includes a zero adjust button of the face of the meter, a rugged rubber boot, a magnet on the back for hanging the meter during service, and the Auto Power-Off (APO) function conserves battery life. The SDMN5 measures pressure between -60inWC and 60inWC (Inches of water column) and -150.0 to 150.0 mBar. • A whole lot cheaper than hiring a tech
Style: Manometer
Worked well for me, made it easy to test air flow thru different filters. Allowed me to determine the highest MERV rating I could use without stressing the blower in my HVAC and shortening its lifespan. A little expensive for something I won't use often but a whole lot cheaper than hiring a tech

  • Best Manometer for the price!
Style: Manometer
Purchased a cheaper more cost effective manometer at first, which I should have just purchased this one from the start. Seems to be very accurate, and easy to read . Definitely cannot go wrong with Fieldpiece , if you’re looking into purchasing a manometer, don’t waste your time with other cheaper brands, this is worth its weight in gold. ... show more

  • A Must For Troubleshooting HVAC Airflow Problems
Style: Manometer
While most HVAC Techs are highly skilled in diagnosing refrigeration problems by measuring refrigerant pressures with sophisticated gauges, few know much about troubleshooting airflow problems using a similar technique (sad but true). This instrument can be used to measure air pressures throughout a duct system to identify restrictions and blower and appurtenance problems, much the same as they routinely do for refrigerant tubing, compressors and appurtenances. Accomplished DIY-ers should be able to master the art of ductwork troubleshooting (DON'T ATTEMPT REFRIGERANT WORK AT HOME, FOLKS - ESPECIALLY WITH THIS INSTRUMENT). ... show more
