I feel like these are meant for an older baby, like 12+ months rather than the advertised 6+ month. My baby is 7 months and she seems to struggle with this binky, it seems a little large for her age. I do like that there is only a plastic outline- it seems to be good with preventing drool build up.

Despite being very careful when cleaning and washing daily, this morning I noticed a horrific amount of BLACK MOLD in my baby’s pacifier!!!!! We have been using these pacifiers for a couple months and immediately noticed that they are difficult to clean. I hand wash the pacifiers with hot water and soap and let them air dry on the boon lawn. If you squeeze the nipple at all, water will get inside the nipple and I have thrown out several pacifiers for this reason. Although difficult to clean, I kept using the pacifiers because they are what my baby has always liked. I was horrified to find a large amount of black mold all around the mouth piece and inside the glow in the dark cap this morning!! I have looked closely and found mold on a couple others and am going to have to just throw out the ones that are not clear (do not glow in the dark) because I cannot check them for mold without breaking the pacifier. This is very disappointing and I expect better from MAM. The shape of the nipple is great and babies seem to love it, but the overall design is very poor and allows for moisture to retain and mold to grow. ... show more
