The notes are very well balanced, and the scent is very hard to describe. Woodsy, slightly sweet, slightly musk.....It can be perfectly summed up as "sexy"! I would give it 4.8 stars if I could. My only issue is that it doesn't last long enough. 3-4 hours and it's gone! This scent isn’t for everyone- but it is for me. I love woodsy, musty, tobacco with leather. Cigar, cellar- scents - this is none of them. This has Leather in the name, not sure if I would necessarily define it as leather but it is definitely rugged, well no in a sense of masculine because this can be worn by all of the different sex’s there are now, I’ve lost count….bottom (hehe) line is this is a surprising scent that cowgirls and cowboys can get behind, most likely the cowboys will be broke back mountain types, but cowboys all the same. Item was purchased during Amazon Prime Days, and was 30% off. Malin + Goetz is a very good company for bath products, but had never even smelled their cologne. Took a chance based on experience with other company items. Great cologne! Smells like other colognes I have that I really like (Molten Brown Russian Leather, or perhaps Tom Ford Ombre Leather), and seems to have good lasting power. For the price paid (~$65), a great deal. Would even consider it at the regular price ($95). Really a great scent, but be warned, it is masculine and not really unisex in my opinion. ... show more

The Bergamot vial is broken and won't spray. It smells nice from what I can tell but I'm really disappointed (especially for the price) that I can't use one of the items. It also makes me worry about buying a full size bottle. What if that is defective too?
