So, I purchased this mannequin specifically to wear a custom costume I created, which is in an exact standing pose, with one arm extended forward and upward with elbow bent, and the other slightly upward and bent, but not very much. The knees only needed to be slightly bent so he didn't look stiff like a cadaver. First, let me just say that I am a small business owner of over 12 years with lots of experience assembling many different style mannequins. This particular fella simply did not want to stay on the pole base, as there was technically nothing holding him in place, other than maybe a 3" square rod shoved in his back (but nothing to actually lock in place). His arms would not stay even slightly raised and in place, which was extremely frustrating. And, it was nearly IMPOSSIBLE to bend this guy's knees even slightly!!! I literally had to get my body building son to try and bend them. The mannequin ended up face down on the floor, as my son was trying to bend his knees, and it looked like a WWE Wrestling Match! ROFL It was kind of hilarious to be honest. Luckily, we did finally get enough bend in the knees and elbows to meet our needs, however, we did have to duct tape the shoulder joints in order to keep the arms in place. Again, very frustrating and a disappointment. We also ended up having to duct tape the mannequin to the pole in his back, in order to secure him. Another big disappointment for the amount of money paid for this item. Overall, I'd say it definitely does NOT do what it's advertised to do. If you simply assemble it out of the box and jam it on the pole provided, you'll have yourself a great Alien mannequin. Other than that, good luck, bc you're going to have a wrestling match on your hands! And, don't forget to bring duct tape if you need to pose it!

I have purchased 2 of these mannequins. They are well worth the cost. They are easy to put together and very well made. One of them came with the wrong base the company responded immediately and sent a new one it came within a few days. They stand by their product

Bought for my son. He loves it. Easy to assemble, stands up well, easily dressed and posed. I priced a lot of mannequins. This was the best for the price if you want to pose your mannequin.

This is listed as posable. I expected to be able to bend at the waist to sit at a chair. In doing so, it snapped at the waist.

Good quality, fast shipping......this is my 4th mannequin (for uniform display) and by far the most expensive. I thought it would be easier to dress, but it was awfully shender (a bit thicker would have been nicer). The main reason for this purchase over the other two models I have is the flexible limbs and the mount in the back instead of the bottom of the leg. Overall it worked for my applications, but i had to use towel wraps to give it a little bulk around the middle.
