These are soft make up brushes. They apply and blend make up well. It’s also a nice variety of brushes for just about any make up application you want to do. For the price this is a great bunch of brushes.

If you are looking for a set of makeup brushes that has a wide variety of sizes and uses, this is a pretty good set to start with. I like the multiple sizes and I like that there is a card to tell you what each brush is meant to be used for. The bristles are soft and clean easily.

This is a great affordable brush set. For 16 pieces that have lots of variety I think this site is so worth it for beginners, or people who are just wanting to have a set of brushes to travel with. I did notice that was there was some minor shedding of the brushes - more specifically the bigger brushes. They had some stray hairs just out of the packaging. These are excellent brushes. I don’t use them for makeup, I use them for painting projects. I am currently repainting my kitchen cabinets as well as all trim work in the home. Makeup brushes have been my little secret for a perfect finish. The big ones in particular, hold a lot of paint and it is almost as if I was working with a paint marker. Getting into the little divots, nooks and crannies is easy and getting a straight line along trim is even easier. I can blend paint seamlessly and you never see any brush marks. I keep getting makeup brushes for all my home painting projects because they work really well and they are cheap and easy to clean. If one gets trashed, its not a big deal as they are inexpensive.
