It is a nice kit, currently making it with my daughter. Beware that it didn't come with batteries (needs 2x 2032 Button batteries) nor does it come with craft glue which the instructions call for. Otherwise it is a great kit, we're having fun, and it seems like it is coming out nicely.

This was a fun project my daughter and I did. The materials for the most part are high quality and it even came with a tray to lay out the beads and various strings etc. The one downfall is the lights. After barely touching them one of the connections broke so I had to MacGyver it back together...since I didn't have sottering equipment. They give you fairy lights but no batteries for them and they are not standard AAA. I have no clue how they say this is appropriate for ages 8 and up. I ended up making the whole thing for my 8 year old. There are almost 50 steps and they are highly confusing. It's also extremely annoying to make. This took way too long to construct and no way my daughter could have done this by herself! It took over a few days to finish based on my patience level and I improvised on some of the tasks because the directions were a bit confusing. It did turn out very nice and we are proud of the final result.

This was cute and looked great after I rigged it together but there’s no way a kid could follow these instructions. Me and my daughter attempted to do it together and she gave up and it became a mommy project. The ribbon Frayed so many times and it was just more of a pain that it was worth.
