A couple months ago, I bought myself a new Bible because I want to start regularly reading the Bible. During my search for a new Bible, I came across these Bible tabs and hemmed and hawed for a long time about buying them. I've seen a number of people use them but didn't know if I wanted to try them. Eventually I caved and bought the lavender color since purple is my favorite color. This package of tabs contains 72 tabs, which are foil-edged and have the books of the Bible on both sides. There are six sheets of tabs, with 64 tabs for the 66 books of the Protestant Bible (1 John, 2 John, and 3 John are listed as 1-3 John on one tab), as well as tabs for Notes, Special, Concord (King James Version), Index, Old Testament, New Testament, Maps, and Life Verse. There aren't any blank tabs available and these wouldn't work as well with a Catholic Bible. Each tab measures an inch long, is lavender in color with purple flowers in the background, has purple foil edges, and the names of the books are printed very legibly in black. The package of tabs comes with a Tab Placement Guide as well as instructions. These tabs are made in China. When I opened this package, the instructions seemed overwhelming the first time I read them. The tabs need to be attached carefully because the clear parts are essentially like stickers being permanently stuck to thin pages of a Bible. I ended up reading through the instructions a few times before I started. Once I got started, it was very easy and I'd say the entire process took me about an hour because I was being extra careful. You'll need to use the Tab Placement Guide for every book of the Bible and it's very handy. After placing all of the tabs in my Bible and doing a decent job, if I do say so myself, here are some tips I learned from the process: - Read the instructions carefully before beginning. Don't rush! - When removing the tabs from the sheets, I found it easiest to peel the tabs from the outside versus starting from the inside. If the colored tab part starts to peel away, grab the whole tab so the purple part doesn't rip. - Carefully line up the top of the tab with the arrow on the Tab Placement Guide. If you aren't sure which number you are on, look at the name of the book you just completed and count down the tabs. After the clear plastic part is sticking to the page, fold the tab in half, make sure there is only one page sticking to the tab and carefully attach the other part of the tab to the back of the page. - The tabs will always be attached to the pages on the right side, regardless of if the beginning of the book starts on the left page. Some of my tabs are attached to the title page of the book and some are on the page with some of the verses. - The clear parts may cover some words in the Bible but you'll still be able to see through it without any problems. - If you make a mistake and a tab is uneven, you MAY be able to fix it. I was able to very carefully peel the tab off and try again. Because the pages of the Bible are very thin and delicate, I wouldn't count on being able to do this but you may be able to do it if needed. - Don't press down firmly on the tabs until they are in place how you'd like them, in case you need to adjust them (if possible). Once I got started with applying the tabs, the process was fairly easy to do. After I reached the end of the Old Testament, I just continued on with the next tab number when I attached the "Matthew" tab so that the tabs flowed nicely. When you find the book of the Bible you want to look in, don't pull on the tab because the pages may rip. Instead, I find the tab, lift it up slightly, slide my finger into the Bible and open it from there to keep my Bible in good shape. I love the look of these tabs and they help me find the books easily! I like that they come in a lot of different colors to suit everyone's favorite color and they are made nicely. They don't feel cheap and they look beautiful. I'm proud to have these in my Bible and am considering purchasing another set for my other Bible! I know a couple of the tabs don't look perfect but I'm okay with that. I have a couple tabs left over that I haven't used but I'm going to tuck them away in my Bible cover in case I decide to use them later. If you are looking for some tabs for your Bible, these are a good option and I recommend them!

Love these I would not have a Bible without them. It makes so much easier for being quick to find what I’m looking for easy to put on. I have no trouble and if you get it on and it’s slightly crooked if you don’t smash it together if you catch it just as you’re putting it on and you go really slow. It will peel off without tearing your Bible and these pages are thin and I had to do it a couple of times, but you have to peel real slow and easy.

These are GORGEOUS! I have a blue set from A LONG TIME AGO (like 2011-2012 and they're still going strong, it's 2025 now). Got a purple set to differentiate between Bibles (and cover has some purple on it) and I love these. Tab itself is a lavender with a grape/royal purple foil edge. Very beautiful and classy. Tabs are easy to put on (good adhesive). Has clear sides to put on page, if you have to peel off, do so carefully and slow. Depending on your page thicknesses, these may stick fast. Does come with tab guide but I found it easier to do on my own. It's not perfectly lined up but that's ok. For those with Catholic Bibles, these do come with extra labeled tabs for those books. Also has some extra tabs (Help, Wisdom, Maps, Index, Life Verse). Definitely recommend these (I use theses and the ones from Mr. Pen).

Easy to install and read! Bought these a long time ago and still use them to find my spot in my bible! They aren’t flimsy either, so I can find what I need quickly without having to unfold a bent tab. I recommend these to all my friends!

I bought these tabs to match my new purple bible, and they are very pretty with a soft swirly design in the background, the edge is purple foil and the font is nice with black lettering. I have another bible with more plain white tabs with a silver foil edge and after applying these new tabs and working with both bibles I have found I prefer the old set because the tabs themselves are not as tall, they are thinner in height and longer. They don't look so chunky and stout, that's the best way I can describe these new tabs. Since the other tabs are thinner they don't flop around as much and seem thicker even though I believe they are the same double card stock thickness. I also had some trouble getting some of these tabs off their backing paper. About 1/3 of the time instead of the tab peeling off the backing paper the backing paper would just peel in half. I was always able to peel from a different side or direction and get the tab off cleanly. I am glad I bought them because they are very pretty and complement my bible cover very well, just some things I wish I had known before I bought these. I may have looked harder or settled for more functional tabs. HELPFUL HINTS * Really make sure you only have one page, verify using the page numbers. Although you can reposition the tabs easily before you push them into place it is very difficult to peel them back off the thin bible paper once you have pushed them down on both sides. What is good for permanence is bad for mistakes. * If you want to mark the old & new testaments with their own tabs (or any of the front sections) plan that accordingly because if you label all the books in order you can't go back and add them later and have the perfect "waterfall" positioning. * I applied my tabs in two different sessions because it is tiring and I started getting sloppier and making more mistakes. * Be very patient and go very slowly. It will take an hour or two total to apply them but they will be there for years to come so you will want them to look right.

When I bought a smaller bible I wanted to find the same tabs I used on my larger bible. I was so glad to find these tabs on Amazon (not in stock at the book store where I bought the first set). I tried to use the guide but it didn't work well on this bible, so I did it freehand. I read a review where someone complained about the tabs tearing the page. This will happen no matter what tab you use. I corrected and prevented the tearing problem by reinforcing the tab with a strip of tape on my other bible, so I automatically reinforced the tab pages on my new bible with transparent tape. I really like that the adhesive part of the tab is clear and short so they don't cover the words. I also didn't want a tab with different colors & or heavy designs. These tabs look great with my bible which as a lavender cover. The design on the tab is perfect in that it does not interfere or distract from the print on the tab. The value for your money with these tabs is through the roof. As with any tab, be careful not to tab two pages together. Just check the next page to be sure it's in numerical order before sealing your tab.
