I installed this system on my 03 silverado 1500 Z71 ext cab. The system installed okay. While removing my old exhaust the bolts at the cat were rusted and broke. So I had to replace. The only problem I had with the install was the clamps. The largest clamp at the muffler I had no problem. However the rest of the clamps barely fit. It was so tight I had to press the knurled "I" block out just to get 1 thread of bite. Once it bites though the clamp can be ran down tight. To install I mocked all the clamps up loose. Sit the system where I wanted and then came back and locked everything down. The clamps are minimal on the system as well. After 8 months it looks good and sounds good. If you don't use some gloves to install and get oily fingerprints on the tips you need to wipe it off the heat will react with your fingerprints and discolor the ss. I did this, however I was able to wipe clean. As far as sound it's not annoying loud. It's a moderate deep tone rumble. It's pretty quite at idle with a deep tone. Then get's pretty noticeable on acceleration. At Highway cruising ~2000 rpm it has a louder deep tone that can be heard in the cab, but nothing that would prevent you from hearing other people talk or the radio. I can't say if my mileage has improved. If it has it hasn't been noticeable (maybe +1 mpg), and I track my mileage religiously. However I've been towing a lot this year so it's hard to say.

Very good quality system, but verify the fit. The Amazon system said it definitely fit 2007 SLE 4WD Extended Cab 78.7" bed. It didn't. Had to return it. Be sure to verify directly with the manufacturer to assure the proper fit for your specific vehicle.

I replaced my rusted out FlowMaster catback super 40 system with this stainless steel exhaust system. The MagnaFlow system was shipped right away and got here much sooner than I thought it would. No issues with the shipping or the product as delivered. It sounds much better then the old flowMaster system (not quite as loud) and the pipes are a larger diameter then what FlowMaster offers. The only issue I have is that the fit of the MagnaFlow system isn't as good as the FlowMaster. It was a little bit more difficult to install it compared to the FlowMaster. Also, one pipe is too close to the spare tire and the both tail pipes appear to be angled down a few hairs at where they exit compared to the FlowMaster pipes. Other than the fit, I like them and would buy them again. (Note: the vehicle is a 2004 4x4 GMC short bed, extended cab pickup truck)

Amazon is wrong as it does fit my 04 crew cab Silverado 5.3 z71. I checked using the magnaflow website. Shipped fine and in good time. Searching around prices I found this awhile ago and thought it was awfully cheap. Then the price rocketed back up and I waited for it to come back down again I saved over $200 by doing that. Was packaged nice nothing was damaged or missing. Instructions could have been a little better, definitely time consuming fitting the exhaust to the vehicle. I’m a perfectionist so trying to turn the pipes and get the hangars correct height and everything took time. Overall nice system, not crazy loud but loud enough to let your friends know you see them. Good tone and rumble on the higher rpms as well. Only concern I had was the first hangar after the first pipe that was installed looks to be stretched pretty good and I may have to watch that in the future and replace the hangar as it wears out but overall good buy. Hoping it lasts a long time being that it’s stainless.

Pretty straightforward installation, took me about 1.5 hours. Getting the end pieces straight and even turned out to be the hardest part. The tips look great and the sound is amazing!

I ordered this exhaust for my 03 silverado. I thought i was ordering the exhaust system that is pictured with this item but when i received the shipment it was different, they have posted the wrong picture with this product. If you want to know what this item looks like, Google: "MagnaFlow 15792." That being said, this product is still well worth the money spent. The only difference between this picture and the correct one is that there is only one muffler. Although the picture clearly shows two, you only receive one with a single input and two outputs. However, besides the fact that I was disappointed when i received the exhaust system, I was impressed with craftsmanship of the system, as well as the easy install. This exhaust not only looks good, but sounds good as well, It is not terribly loud but has a good throaty sound in low rpm's. I fully recommend this item and with a life-time guarantee you cannot go wrong.
