The removal of the old exhaust was by far the hardest part. The sound was a little raspy for my liking but after the fist week of driving I noticed it mellowed out and sounds great now. If your looking for a mild sound and a tucked up exhaust this is for you.

Now the best part is the sound. It's perfect! It definitely makes noise, but is not too obnoxious. It actually sounds really cool. I believe it's not supposed to be much in the line of performance, but I notice I'm getting more out of first and second now with less effort, and hearing the rpms is nice too.     • Loud Noises!!!
My neighbors are not going to like the sound of my rumbling Jeep JK as I roll by. This thing is loud and grumbles with purpose. Not quite broken in yet, so I will withhold performance issue for a later update. I feel a bit of acceleration lag at the moment though. Install was not too much of a hassle, though I had to deburr a few edges. I expected a bit more refined finish for the price point. Most pieces just snap together and lock in place with the provided hardware. Removing the old rubber hangers was the biggest pain. A bit of lube, small screw driver and pry bar will help immensely. I had to remove the factory skid plate to get the old resonator out and leaving it off made install a lot easier. I could not get the inlet tube on my kit to seat all the way on the y-tube, but it does not hinder anything. Contacted Magnaflow about it just in case. ... show more

This muffler was perfect. It was easy to install. The performance was very much improved over the stock muffler. The sound is perfect. It has just the right sound when you hit the gas and run thru the gears but once you are up to speed it is quite and does not impeded conversation.
