    • Low quality clamps, costly considering that and no gasket.
I love the Magnaflow product typically, this will be my fifth vehicle with magnaflow. The clamps that were included with the set up actually bottom out with the aluminum spacer portion before they get tight. We had leaks everywhere. Purchased some better quality clamps from Amazon and after the third attempt we resolved that. Been working on cars since the late 70s, not necessarily new at this. Also, there’s no mention of the gasket that goes between the factory catalytic converter flange and this exhaust system. For $1000 for the system, one would think they would supply a $2 gasket. We had to go out and purchase our own. Love the sound, worked out well otherwise. ... show more

High quality stainless steel exhaust, looks and sounds great. Sounds similar to the upgraded exhaust found on the Monte Carlo SS NASCAR edition cars. Moderate exterior sound and mild interior sound. Quieter than a Flowmaster American thunder cat-back exhaust equipped Ford Mustang and does not make a loud annoying drone at highway speeds as Flowmasters do. The exhaust tips do stick out a little compared to a stock exhaust but overall a vast improvement over the quiet and restricting stock Monte Carlo SS exhaust. 5/5 definitely recommend upgrading to this performance exhaust. ... show more

I got this for my Monte Carlo after my exhaust got a leek. It is pricey but made of stainless steel not like the aluminum ones that rust out after 2 or 3 years. It makes my car a little louder at low rpms but doesn't have the sound I was hoping for. It's direct fit for my car like it said but the tips stick out to far for my liking and they cant be adjusted I would have to cut them off and get some new ones from the auto parts store to fix it. I had it put on at a local shop for $126 with no problems. ... show more
