abunda_amazon_reviews I installed this on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Hard Rock (JK). This was a pretty easy install and only required a pry bar, 15mm deep well socket, rachet, torque wrench, WD-40 or similar product -- about 35 minutes (including being OCD and clean up). To remove OEM muffler from rubber hangers I did the following: (A)driver side hanger -- WD40 on rubber hanger and I was able to push off with my hand. (B)passenger side hanger -- WD40 on rubber hanger and used a 12" crowbar to push off the hanger utilizing the front of the OEM tailpipe as a fulcrum and pulling the the bottom of the crowbar toward the front of the Jeep (took about 5 seconds). To install the Magnaflow muffler I applied lube (antisieze) to the male end of the OEM pipe and inside of the female end of the Magnaflow 2 1/2" pipe to reduce friction when sliding it on. I then pulled on the exhaust pipe from the rear of the catalytic converter and pushed on the muffler and both ends joined easily. Another installation hint -- After reading a review where the installer scratched the tips during the install, I used the protective foam packaging over the tips and bubble wrap over the body to prevent scratching them during the install -- this worked very well. It has a good finish. Tips are 4" and actually rest higher than the OEM tip (see attached photos for reference). It has a nice low sound but is not excessively loud. I recommend this product.;;Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2016;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great sound and look!;;DB;;;I rate this exhaust 5 stars unlike others who are rating the product on the difficulty of removal on the stock exhaust. Why should the removal of the stock exhaust be relevant to the Magnaflow review? Anyway, looks great, sounds slightly better than the stock exhaust, nice mellow rumble, this is what a jeep should sound like. Sounds like a V6, not a rice cooker. I have a Borla exhaust on my V8 WJ and sounds like a corvette. Anyway, the driver side exhaust tip does protrude appx 1/4 to 1/2 inch more than the passenger side, but hardly noticeable, for that...deduct 0.5 stars... 4.5/5 stars. As for the removal of the old exhaust, mine had no rust, not abused, total removal and install time was exactly 1 hour. I tried the dish soap trick on the rubber hangers...no dice. WD 40 worked better. I also purchased the exhaust hanger removal tool as others claim is a miracle...not so. There isn't enough space to utilize the tool on the driver side, ended up just using a pry bar and flat head screw driver. The important part is to be patient. The hangers come off, you just have to work them off. This exhaust should be OEM on all Wranglers. Update 8/12/17: After over 550 miles, now the exhausts are becoming mildly louder. I am in my 30s, and I can say you will not be embarrassed by the level of the base. You will hear it with the top off but not so much at idle. I can say it is not as easy to install as the reviews have made it out to be. It takes much finagling to get the muffler off the rubber grommets. In fact, I actually cut one side (not the rubber). Yes, I used dish soap wd40 and other methods. It is just hard to reach and gain leverage when poping it off. Be prepared to get frustrated. I bought the exhaust removal tool and it was a breeze to remove the factory exhaust. I saw in other reviews that the Magnaflow driver's side exhaust tip was sticking out about 1" farther than the passenger side, and this was true for mine as well. After a little tweaking of the connection to the factory system I managed to get it perfectly aligned. The sound is great. At first it was a bit quiet, but it's starting to sound better / louder as I use it. Looks nice and clean on the Jeep. The hardest part is getting the stock muffler off. I sprayed some WD-40 on the rubber hangers, used a short crowbar to pry them off. Used a couple of 4 letter words and some elbow grease and within 5 minutes the stock muffler was off. I did put some grease on the inlet pipe to help slide the new muffler on. As I read on other reviews, the driver side tip does stick out about a 1/2 to 3/4" farther than the passenger side. I may try to bend one of the hangers to correct it but I am ok with it for now. Now for the sound! Awesome! At first I really didn't notice much difference other than slowing down and idling. After about 25 miles it seemed to loosen up and I noticed more of the deep tones on acceleration but not overbearing. I have a soft top so I was concerned about it being too loud, this is not at all the case. Once you hit 25 mph, you will barely notice it, and on the Interstate it is pretty much the same.
