I had a hard time taking the old caps off my walker, which is on me. Once they were off, these fit the walker perfectly. They took a mighty push to go on, but they will never slip off. I was worried they would scrape my wood floors, but they don't. They work equally well on carpet. They glide smoothly. I had tennis balls, but they don't look nice, and the bottom wears off. I noticed this is what they had at rehab, and I'm glad I bought them.

Very sturdy, slip resistent, thick, and comfort for the user. I had to return them because they don't fit on my Walker. It would be a great help for the seller to include verbiage that reads the actual diameter of this item. Another thing that's important is making sure the bottom Glides of your Walker are removable. Hoping equipment manufacturers realize these little items work very well on carpeting, hardwood floors and sidewalks. Please manufacture walker frames to swap out the base button for slip glide skiis. Family members have them on their walkers. They had their walker retrofitted. I didn't want to do that with my Walker because I am going to donate it after I'm done using it.

These walker glide skis changed my mother's gait when using her lightweight aluminum walker. The tennis balls were not adequate! They kept coming off at awkward times. So, I decided to order some surprise skis and secretly placed them on her walker. It took only 2 minutes! Later that day we used that walker out in public. My mother was ecstatic that I had bought them for her. She said they made it easier to navigate uneven pavement like in parking lots or sidewalks. These glide skis are genius!! They glide easier than any tennis ball! They last much longer than the original walker bottom rubber pieces.

These skis really help, especially going room to room over transitions. Seldom need to pick up walker and reset in the next room. I bought a pair for my sister and she was thrilled. And then I had knee surgery and saw first hand how helpful this little invention is.
