Description

This farmhouse styled cotton clip jacquard comforter features a pieced design with striped pattern and decorative buttons, for a casual look. Two matching shams and two coordinating Euro knit shams (3 in King size) complement the top of the bed. Also included are three decorative pillows: one knit square, one trimmed square with embroidery details, and one carpet stitch oblong with decorative embroidery details that add the finishing touches to this set. This oversized and overfilled comforter uses a removable duvet-style insert that is secured by inner ties and a hidden button closure. The hypoallergenic polyester filling in the insert contains no allergens and is treated to be dustproof for a comfortable sleep. Dry clean for comforter cover and machine wash for inserts.

I have been looking for something that matches our modern farmhouse style house done in the creams and wood tones that still went with the darker wood in our room and this is beautiful. It is a duvet, but the comforter inside the duvet is heavy and cozy. They did it like this so one piece can be washed and the other has to be dry cleaned. You don’t even notice it. It’s a nice quality heavy set. I personally think it is beautiful and I love the worn look. Everyone that sees it tells me how pretty it is. It came with more of the cream color pillowcases that are 24x24, but I haven’t bought extra pillows yet. I just found curtains at Sam’s club that are blackout that match perfectly. (Note: I haven’t steamed them yet if you notice wrinkles in the photos.) In other reviews people complained about the pillows and they are thin, but they are still nice. I like them like that because they lay nicely. The comforter is wrinkled, but most of the wrinkles work themselves out. I noticed when I took the photos that it looks more wrinkled than it is. I don’t think the photos do it justice. It is really pretty. I bought this brand in fall of 2017 and had it all these years and it still looked like new when I took it off. We fold down the comforter at night so that it keeps them nice and I just have a down comforter under it. I hope if you buy this that you enjoy it as much as I do. I have no regrets. ... show more

I love the look of this, though I did make some modifications. I purchased larger buttons (same style, on Amazon) and replaced those little bitty buttons on the comforter and added some to the pillow shams, because .... what the heck!? The shams didn't look finished without them. But more importantly, I am here to tell you first, the fabric is not soft. Not all cuddly like it looks. It's borderline scratchy. Even after three washings. And..... if you don't want it to look a wrinkled mess after washing, you're going to have to wrastle it and iron the darn thing. Yes, even with a large capacity dryer and being taken straight out and laid flat when its dry.... its 100% cotton, it wrinkles. But, I expected that. I have an iron and I'm not afraid to use it. What I did NOT expect was... LINT! LINT!! LINT!! LINT!! The "cut threads" that create the white fuzzy stripes, create and enormous amount of lint. Not just when washed, but during daily use. It's like having a huge, shedding critter in the house. It gets all over EVERYTHING and it is no small task keeping it cleaned up. I finally resorted to the brush attachment on my vacuum cleaner because a lint roller would only be able to clear about a 1 foot square area at a time. And it clogs the bristles on the vacuum brush, it has to be cleaned several times during the process. The lint gets on the back of the comforter, on the pillows and shams, on your sheets, on your clothes when you lay them on the bed, in your hair.... it's a lint Tsunami that just never ends! Do I have a photo of the lint? No, because I'm sick of looking at it. It IS holding up well, will likely last a decade, especially since I've been hoping it would go to pieces and so could replace it. ... show more

I could not be happier with this comforter set. I wasn’t expecting much given the price, but it turns out the quality is fantastic. It lends a more casual look to my master bedroom, making the room appear more eclectic. I have contemporary furniture, a reclaimed wood panel wall, and this set blends in perfectly. The comforter is very soft and very fluffy and well filled. The pillows are also of excellent quality. The only negative is that the pre-filled Accent pillows aren’t adequately filled. Need to switch them out. No big deal. They all have zippers and should be a cinch. Overall, I am very pleased with this set and highly recommend it. ... show more

I was a bit hesitant to pay the money on a set I hadn’t actually seen or touched. Much to my delight, this is the most cozy and relaxing bed set I could’ve asked for.
