My last bedding set I purchased was in 2010 from Kohl, and it was a Madison Park brand set. I babied that set for 6 years, and finally broke down when my fiance and I moved into our new house we had built, knowing we were going to need a new comforter set. I was so pleased with the last Madison Park set that I knew I wanted to stick with that brand. Plus the sets always have nice colors and decorative pillows to go along with it. It was difficult finding a set that we could both agree on; I knew I wanted something very soft and light. But I have found that a lot of comforters of that style are often times shiney, itchy, and poorly made. After doing lots and lots of looking, we both decided we could live with the red, brown, and tan theme since it would match our bedroom and not be too girly. I read a few negative reviews saying that the sewing job on the comforter was poor, and that the overall quality was bad. When my package arrived, the first thing I did was do a thorough inspection of the quality. I wasn't surprised that I didn't have any issues, and I was really happy with how the material felt. Its light enough to keep you from getting overheated at night, but not so thin to where you freeze. It also looks very classy and clean. I would recommend that anyone purchasing this set to go a size larger than what you need. We have a queen size bed and decided to go with a king so we would have plenty of blanket. It looks great because it hangs over the edges of the bed and looks nice and full. You also don't need to worry about having sheets that wont fit because this set DOES NOT come with sheets, which was fine with me! Overall I'm very happy with my new Madison Park bedding set and will definitely be sticking with this brand in the future!

I ordered this in a queen for a queen, and I was a little worried with all of the reviews stating that the queen is way too short and to order in a king. So then first thing I did once it arrived was put it on the bed for the moment of truth that would determine whether I'd have to go through the painstaking process of returning it or not. To my pleasant surprise, though, it was perfect. I think it fits the bed perfectly and has the perfect amount of length on the end and the sides. I do not have a deep pocketed mattress, though. So that may make a difference. But for a normal mattress, I think the size is perfect. Other than the sizing, it is beautiful and colors, pattern, and quality are true to the pictures. I spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews before buying this set because the last bed in a bag set I bought was about $70, and was beautiful but was made out of that shiny slippery material and it only lasted about a month. Between my dogs claws, and pulling it to try to get covers while my dog was laying on top, it ripped to shreds. It was terrible quality and the seams didn't withstand the tiniest of a tug on them. That was a different brand, and material. This one appears to be a lot better quality, better material, and the seams seem to be stronger and better sewn, and I paid more, so I'm hoping this one will hold out. I guess time will tell. But so far I am very pleased with it in every aspect!

I just got my bedding today and was so excited I immediately opened it to put on my bed. Here is my initial opinion and I will update later on my satisfaction of this product if necessary. * True California King Size - One of the biggest complaints is that comforters and bed skirts don't actually fit the California king. The comforter is a GREAT length all around and the skirt fits the width and length perfectly. Unfortunately, the box springs on my bed are too short (only 5 ¼ inches - so 11 ½ inches from the top of the box springs to the floor) and the bed skirt is much too long so I still can't have a bed skirt until I fix my bed frames height. * I feel like I got a good value for my money. I paid $115 for the set and so I didn't expect the highest quality. I can tell that the fabric may tear or separate over time as it is fairly thin. Some other reviews complained of wrinkles and of course it just came out of a package so it is wrinkled and the pillows are a bit smooshed but I fully expect that it will be fine in a day or two. * The comforter is very fluffy and soft. I don't generally sleep under my comforters but for those who do I expect that it would be quite warm. Not a summer blanket. The multiple seams on the comforter are well sewn and I like the texture it adds to my room. The color is what I expected, a light tan and brown. I like that the color is light enough to not make my room look dark but dark enough that it should help hide stains that having little children climbing all over my bed will bring. It looks nice with my steely blue curtains as well. I was having a really hard time finding a comforter to match them. * I didn't give 5 stars because I was disappointed that the fabric didn't seem tougher but as I already mentioned I didn't pay much and feel like I still got a good deal for my money.

Love the Hotel Look I tried this comforter set and it gave me that hotel look I’ve been wanting. It really pulled my whole bed together, and I like that it came with the accent pillows and covers so I didn’t have to buy anything extra. It’s soft, lightweight, and just makes the room feel more put together. I’m really happy with how it looks.
