The ivory and tan colors are soft and elegant, and the embroidered details give it a nice hotel-style appearance without looking too flashy. I also like that the comforter is oversized, so it covers the sides of the bed much better than my old one. The comforter feels fluffy and comfortable without being too heavy, which works well for all seasons in my home. The decorative pillows and matching pieces help make the whole room look put together. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the comforter arrived a little wrinkled from the packaging and needed some time to fully fluff up. Almost everything about this comforter set is great. The down alternative is warm and comfortable to sleep under. The price is great for such a large set. I appreciate the Euro shams as well as traditional shams being included, instead of just one or the other. The decorative throw pillows do require a few days to "fluff up." I was so disappointed in them when I first opened the package, they were flat and cheap looking. But after a couple days they looked as poofy as they are pictured online! My only complaint, and the reason for the loss of stars is how narrow the comforter is! It is far too narrow for a queen size bed. It barely covers the edges of our mattress. If our sheets are not tucked in perfectly, they are visible. This undersized comforter really cheapens the entire set's appearance and is disappointing in a set labeled "oversized." If you have all white sheets, and a good bed skirt, you will be ok but it was a real bummer to me. ... show more
