This is a really beautiful set, and you get a large quantity of items for the price. With that said: it feels absolutely awful to the touch. You know that weird fibrous material that's on the underside of a box spring? That's what the shams and curtains feel like. The sheets are better, but not good. I've just ordered some bamboo sheets that will coordinate nicely with the comforter and other pieces, and the price of them, added to this set, is still substantially lower than a high quality set from Macy's, so I'll take it. Just be aware that these are a purchase for aesthetics, not comfort. ... show more

This set is lovely. The colors are as shown on the photos (I purchased navy). It came in good condition, a few sewing strings that needed snipped but nothing out of the ordinary. The sheet set is soft, and seems of average quality for the price. The comforter is mid-weight and not too heavy. Seems like it will work well for most seasons, or with an additional blanket in wintertime. The curtains are basic, and as others stated, they are sheer and do allow a good deal of light through. If you are looking for room darkening curtains, these included ones are not of that caliber. Overall very impressed and pleased with the purchase for the price. It's not going to last forever with regular use, but for the price, I expect to change it out in a few years. Would definitely consider other Madison Park items. ... show more
