They are not see through but more like an opaque. Sun shines through beautifully. The leaves on these curtains are perfectly placed . I was looking to replace plain white sheers that were in living room when we bought the house. These are perfect and I'm very happy with them! I LOVE THEM!!! In the pictures you can’t see the detailing. But, they are so pretty!!! They give the room a touch of flair, but very calming. Light weight and easy to put on. Can’t beat it for the money.
