I live in a tiny apartment, so I needed some thing for my bingo card to climb on, this is a great size for the apartment that I live in. The hammock bed is a little Disappointing. I have a fat brown cat and a lanky tuxedo. This attractive cat tower is perfect for them. The short one scratches down low and the tall one scratches up high. They both take turns in the bowl, though it did take them almost a year to figure it out. We put cat nip in the Cubby and that's the only time they like to go in. It's no fault of the tower, they just prefer laying out in the middle of the floor or right where you need to walk. The poles have held up really well. The rope has finally come apart but all we need to do if buy some replacement posts. Best if all? They live it and it looks great in my livingroom. This product came well packaged with excellent instructions and even extra pieces in case a screw broke. It took me about 45 minutes to put it together by myself, but it was pretty straightforward. PROS: - I like the look and overall color (cream fabric and blonde wood) - The adjustable hammock is nice since I can swing it around to different positions. My cat seems to really like this part the best. - Having several sisal rope columns gives my cat a lot of area to scratch and stretch. - The height helps provide a better perch option (I am 5’1”, so it is above my head) than my countertop. - The velcro allows the fabric to be removed to wash them, but I haven’t needed this yet. - The large swinging rope is a hit! - Fairly easy to assemble with a few odd angles. CONS: - There was a slight chemical smell that eventually dissipated (not sure if it was the wood, sisal rope columns, or the fabric). - It seemed pretty sturdy at first, especially with the thicker and wider base, but when my cat goes to use the top two highest posts, it is really wobbly. It comes with a strap to secure it to the wall, so I recommend using it - I wanted to try it without first, and it’s definitely needed. - My cat is 6-7 lbs, and he has trouble navigating the narrow ledges on some of the levels, especially the one in front of the cubby. Overall, for the money, I’m still happy with my purchase, and my cat has enjoyed using the hammock, rope columns, hanging rope, and the middle levels for watching out my sliding glass door. I just wish it wasn’t so wobbly because it’s a safety issue for my cat. ... show more

Great value! It is sturdy for my 2 chonky cats. It’s easy to clean, and was also easy to put together. I love that you can detach the pads to wash them, and wipe down the base. Nice aesthetic as well! My cats love to lounge in it, and they like the scratching posts too!

We just got our cat tree today and put it together right away. Super easy to assemble with clear directions and accurate amount of hardware. The quality of the tree and it's parts seem really good. I absolutely love that you can take off the mats and bed to wash- that was a must for me! I love the 2 toy attachments that you can change out. The height is great- my kitten loves being up high.
