Massimo Easy assembly video shows you only have to bolt down handlebars, screw on two mirrors and a plastic shield put in battery ready to ride..not true. The front disc brake hubs/rotors, disc brake calipers, front wheels, front fenders, front cover with headlight, fork gooseneck and handlebars, mirrors, front shield, battery and rubber plugs in floorboard that will not stay in place. I asked Massimo for assistance twice and got no response. Worst of all now that I finally got it assembled it has electrical issues. I haven't even ridden it because I don't feel it is safe to ride, I wills request to return and be refunded. I don't need the aggravation . ... show more

I went with the Massimo iTango for several reasons. First, I have a lot of experience with other Massimo products (Buck 250 UTV, Buck 450 UTV, MSA400 ATV). They have all been very well made, feature rich, reasonably priced, and dealing with the people in Garland Texas where they are assembled has always been a good experience. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy and well taken care of. Second, I wanted an electric Moped that was reasonably well powered but had a motor small enough in wattage that it would qualify as a Moped not a motorcycle in my jurisdiction. The iTango checked those boxes (I would have gotten the iTank except it is too high wattage and would have been required to be registered as a motorcycle in my area). Third, I wanted reasonable range for what I use it for, which is to wander around my immediate areqa within a few miles on nice days and go back and forth to the corner store a couple miles down the road. Again, the iTango checks those boxes. I bought mine directly from the factory in Garland. It came assembled to my doorstep. This was a year ago when they were first being introduced into the US and were not widely available. I cannot speak to the assembly problems one other spoke of here, but I can tell you that the finished product is very nice in terms of features, road ready, easy ride, reasonable power, good range and recharge time. There is only one thing about it that takes some getting used to and that is the throttle. It is NOT a continuous throttle. There are basically three settings... 1, 2, and Reverse. 1 Yields a fixed speed of around 16 mph and is called the "endurance" speed (maximum range). 2 yields a full speed top end around 28 mph. You get used to this and the need to "feather" the throttle for intermediate speeds but it does take a little getting used to. For what it is, it is a very nice package. ... show more
