I have fine, curly hair that is thinning as I get older. These hair towels have been a game changer for me. They are soft, light, and extremely absorbent… they definitely do not pull on the hair like a bath towel. My hair dries in at least half of the time and my hair is less frizzy. I read other reviews where washing these can cause them to deteriorate. I figure when I get ready to wash mine, I may just wash in cold water and hang to dry. I don’t imagine a need to be washed frequently as I am only putting my clean wet hair in them. Anyhow, love these hair towels and what a great value for the price! ... show more

Some are too small, slide back on your head, rough and or scratchy “ microfiber” and most important they don’t absorb ….. Not this one, it’s soft, absorbs and is the perfect size and the button and loop are a nice and durable/quality, Im not fearful it will rip off or break in the wash.

I have curly hair so my review is from a curly girls prospective. This microfiber hair drying bonnet works great for my curls anf is gentle on them. With my curly hair, if I use a regular terrycloth towel on my hair after washing it, the wrapping & twisting of the towel smashes my curls & pulls them straight so I don't get the maximum desired curl & bounce when my hair is dry. My hair is very wet after washing it, cuz I don't wring the water out as one might do with straight hair. So I scrunch my curls to get as much water out as I can... it's not as efficient as wringing hair out. So my hair is left with a lot of water in it. The microfiber material of the bonnet absorbs the sopping wet water from my hair. Much, much better on my curls and efficient. I like it that I can periodically turn my head over and scrunch my curls and get excess water out while wearing it. The more I scrunch, it helps with the curlyness. I can't do that while wearing a regular towl. To do that I have to remove the towel scrunch with the towl, then wrap the towl back up...pulling my curls again. To scrunch more than once I have to repeat the process, which it stupid. It doesn't help with maximizing desired end result of bouncy curls. If I want to remove more water from my hair I carefully just remove the wet bonnet put on the other dry bonnet to continue the water absorption process and flip & scrunch more wetness out. I like that it comes in a 2 pack. It's not heavy like a regular towl. I can keep it on for a while and it doesn't feel cumbersome or get in the way when I get dressed. It won't come unwrapped and fall off like a regular towl. I wash it with all my other towles. To sum up... it's inexpensive & you get 2. So buy the 2 pack and treat your curls if you got them, to a better, more gentle way of drying. We want to optimize our bouncy curls not flatten them. Lol! ... show more

Received these today so technically haven't "used" yet but - I did try them on my head. So first of all there are two of them so that's good - what I found funny was they came shrink wrapped. I was surprised bc I don't think I've ever received something from Amazon shrink wrapped. Lol. Anyway when i first took them out of the package - my first impression was "oh boy these look very small". I seriously didn't even think they would get around my head. I figured I better try them bc at that point I figured I was going to have to return. But they were deceptive. Put on twisted it around and buttoned up and... perfect!! I got them in pink and the color is cute and they are very soft. The upside of them being deceptively small - they won't take up much room. So all in all I am really pleased and can only assume they will wash up like any other towel. Can't wait to use it for real. ... show more

These are great hair turbans. Much more lightweight than using a towel and absorbs a lot of the moisture in my hair. And having a set of 2 is perfect because I can wash one and use the other. These are very soft and work perfectly for what I needed them for.
