For the price, this is a decent kit. All the pad rims have their own sound. The crash and ride are chokable. Very good build quality. Mesh heads can be tightened just like a real drum head. Worth the money in my opinion.

I knew going in when I purchased the drum set, it would not be of high quality. So when I started having issues with the cymbals, I just shrugged my shoulders and said "You get what you paid for". I was also disappointed with the fact that you can't use a double kick peddle. The set came with a single kick, but I dug my double kick peddle, but the pad is too small for the double peddle, plus when it does make contact, it does not register the sound, "You get what you paid for". The toms and snare sound great, plus the material they use on the pads are surprisingly durable. I was afraid they would tear on the first beating, but I was amazed. I still use the set without the cymbals and the double kick. If the cymbals and double kick worked, this would be a great set for the price. ... show more
