  • great looking watch for a great price!
The media could not be loaded. I work in a facility that requires screening via metal detectors. I was needing a watch that will pass through screening and adhere to the complexes rules about digital devices. This watch does the trick! It looks great , is lightweight , doesn’t trigger the metal detectors, easy to program and at a great price. I was able to figure out how to change the turns and date without the instructions which is a far cry from my last digital watch that had a complicated setting program. The backlight looks great and the watch band feels great. I get comments on the watch asking me if it’s one of those smart watches. I love how you can adjust the dial! Love this watch! ... show more

  • Costs less than two sandwiches, will last half a decade or more
I ordered this watch around 3 years ago, with the intent of purchasing the cheapest stopwatch available on the market. Once I put that thing on, it never left my wrist, pocket, and backpack until I lost it (for the second time!) Last week I ordered this watch again, I misplaced the original a third and final time. after over 2 years, that watch has earned it's place in watch heaven. Best watch ever! The watch band is comfortable and does not catch my thick arm hair, it's really soft rubber and it's got tons of holes, never too loose or too tight. Display is nice, I'm a fan of the "classic digital alarm clock with red digits" so having the same font on my digital watch is nice, you know the font, the green oven clock font. The light on the watch is a nice blue! It's been bright enough for me, never had problems with the backlight. It's important to note that this displays the time, date AND day of the week on the same screen, absolutely wonderful. The size and shape are nice, it's obviously waterproof because I used to do 2 hours of hot yoga every day while wearing this watch, and then it takes a shower with me. Never had problems with it, I used to use the alarm on it, the stopwatch as well. Pretty simple stuff. There's only four buttons. Just like every watch, you hold down one button and then it starts blinking, you can edit the time and date, press a second button to move from seconds to minutes and so on. Press the third button to increase the selected digit. I read the instructions almost half a decade ago and when I picked up this watch last week I immediately set it up perfectly so when you read these whiners putting bad reviews because they can't figure out how to use 3 buttons to accomplish 1 simple task, just remember that your "mileage will vary". Some clown actually reviewed that he threw away this 10 dollar watch instead of figuring out how to navigate 3 whole buttons. That's like throwing away a 10 dollar steak because he can't get through the wrapper with his bare hands. It's a ten dollar watch, I bought it because it was cheap and looked good, it lasted 3 years and ticked until the very last second it mysteriously disappeared. I just bought another one. I use it for the stopwatch functionality while in a very dark room as well as checking the time on a nice bright day. ... show more

  • Decent, but not without issues.
So, this watch is big. I should've paid more attention to the description because this watch is bigger than I expected from the picture. I watched a video of a bodybuilder lifting weights with this watch on (in the reviews) and thought, "Man, that is a nice looking watch," and assumed it would look the same on my non-bodybuilding wrist. After I received the watch, I realized that guy's wrist was probably the size of my forearm or bicep. That being said, it turns out I do like the watch. Pros: Waterproof - This watch is really waterproof, unlike many other watches I've had that say waterproof and then have moisture inside the face after you dunk it in the water once. I have worn this watch multiple times swimming in pools and natural springs and it holds up nicely. Functions - has alarm, stopwatch, timer, dual time, 12 hr or 24 hr format, and backlight. Your standard functions but all work as expected and more features than I normally see in a $12 watch. Durable - I'm definitely not easy on watches but other than some light scratches on the face, it has held up well for the past 5 months. Adjustable spinning outer edge - does nothing more than click as you turn it but it satisfies my OCD nature. Cons: Big - I often have to wear a suit and it fits fine under my suit cuff but not under my shirt cuff. Band - kind of a rubbery material which can make my arm sweat and means I have to clean the band every so often due to residue build up. Also(this is a personal issue due to my wrist size), it feels like one setting is too tight and the other a tad too loose. Band pins - I've noticed recently that the band pins loosen a tad every so often. I just have to reach down and pinch it together. They have never come off completely or even enough to cause problems, but not sure if this problem will get worse as time goes on. Overall though, I'm really enjoying the watch and have had more expensive watches that were far worse. It is light on the metal which I like also. The only visible metal piece is the battery cover. Best watch I've owned under $50, and it only cost me $12. UPDATE: it has been about 8 1/2 months since I bought the watch now. Watch still works but the loop on the band which holds the excess strap down broke. So I am no longer wearing it. Watch itself is quite durable. The band - not so much. Not sure if I want to buy a new band because I am really not in love with the thickness of the watch face. ... show more
