I really wanted to let this top and it is so cute but it was a little too cropped for me. The ruffles on the shoulders and ties on the side make this a very cute, feminine top. If you like cropped tops this is adorable I have a long torso so that is probably why it felt extra short.

So I'm OK with my purchase because I bought this shirt to make a pattern. I have a large chest, long torso, and small waist (not as good as it sounds, promise) so I sew a lot of my own clothes. I get either the biggest size of something and cut it down or something that will fit my chest and take in the rest or make a pattern depending on the garment. For me this will work great, because the material is cheap and awful. And the sewing is sloppy. It's like a stiffer but thinner version of a cheap dress shirt. And for some miracle it's actually fitted shockingly well to me. Better than most I expect to be taking in. And cute!! So I'm thrilled because the seams will be so easy to remove and the thin stiff fabric probably won't fray and will make perfect pattern making because there's no give to worry about. Now if I'd planned to wear this I'd have to say I'd be a tad bummed. The stiff material doesnt quite mesh with the slightly flow style. The side bows though are awesome. Very girly and feminine. Fits suuuuper good. Will definitely be buying more colors. Based on the reviews and customer feedback, a large was suggested for me. But I went with the medium. It fits great. A large would have been too big, especially in the boob area, as the medium is already slightly (but perfectly) loose. For reference I'm a 36D. This top hangs a little low. I don't like a lot of cleavage showing, so a large would have shown too much for my taste.
