My young autistic son absolutely loves small containers and he recently begged me for a hinged/lighted ring box. After a thorough search of Amazon we settled on this one and it was everything he hoped for. It’s not being used as a “ring” box but I can still say confidently that it is a perfect choice for its intended purpose. Very strong hinge that feels like it would hold up to many openings, rich and lovely red color that accurately matched the image listing, bright cool-tone light inside that would definitely make a diamond sparkle, soft and good quality interior lining, and a nice tight fit for any ring. A word of warning: my son was so excited about the box that he showed it to lots of family and friends by handing it to them and asking them to open it up. For some reason at least 60% of them placed a finger along the back hinge as they opened the box and as a result received a nasty pinch. I have never been pinched by it and neither has my son, but so many others have that I feel it’s worth mentioning here. This was THE PERFECT ring case for my 40th Wedding Anniversary. The 40th Wedding Anniversary is the Ruby Anniversary. I bought my wife a ruby and diamond ring. It is beautiful. It is a fairly wide ring, and other ring boxes I tried were just too small. I didn't order this ring box at first, because I wasn't sure how the LED light feature would present. In hindsight, I should have just ordered it. It is a VERY nice box. I gave it to my wife in a restaurant on our 40th. It was delivered to her on a plate with flowers by our waitress. It was just beautiful. I asked my wife if she would spend another 40 years with me... And she said "Yes"! My wife stores her ring in this box every night. It makes her so happy! Looks really good and made the ring pop with the integrated light. The door closes really well so it keeps the ring well and protected. Only con is it is pretty big so hiding it was a pain but don't regret the purchase either way.
