I hesitated about purchasing this because some reviews said the set was thin and not very soft. However, I needed a pretty set for my king bed in my guest bedroom. If it looked nice and wasn't used very often (I rarely have guests), it would be a good purchase. I loved the look of the comforter. It felt very soft to me. I know everyone has very different opinions and expectations. To me and my husband, it felt very soft, but that is our opinion. The color is a rich charcoal gray and fits nicely on our King bed. The bedding is also very nice and feels soft and warm. I did not wash it, so I can't comment on that, but after reading the reviews, I will take a different approach. I will only wash it in the smallest possible load setting in cold water. Hopefully, it will turn out okay. Of course, only using it for a guest room makes this a different consideration. Would it be good for a workhorse comforter? Maybe not for some. But for me, it was perfect. I didn't find loose threads or unfinished sections. It looked great and felt fine. There was no aroma whatsoever. I was impressed. I am voting 5 stars. Remember that everyone will have their own perspective, opinions, and experiences. That's why it is important for everyone to write product reviews honestly to help others get different takes on unique experiences.

I ordered these Amberspace luxury queen size sheets and comforter set for our youngest daughter. This is a 7 piece set that includes one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, two pillow cases, two pillow shams, and a comforter. This set is super soft, velvety, and great for any season, although the colors make me look forward to cool autumn mornings. I ordered this set for our youngest daughter's college bedroom. The sheets are a soft velvety flannel. The comforter has a velvet soft brushed flannel on one side and a microfiber finish on the other side. The sheets are a green plaid print that coordinates really nicely with the comforter and pillow shams. I ordered these in queen size for our daughter's bed and she said they were very easy to put on even with her 3 inch topper on top of her regular plush mattress. I washed the sheets in cold water when they arrived, and there was no bleeding in the wash water. I put them in the dryer but the sheets will dry quickly if you prefer to line dry them. I didn't wash the comforter or pillow shams. These are really soft, cozy sheets. If you're looking for nice quality bed in a box type complete set, at a great price, these are a great choice. Recommended!

It doesn't look quite as good as the picture on their bed, but still very nice and I'm glad I purchased this set.
