I got this bag for paddle boarding, and it has been wonderful. Please note that anything you put in there may have a lingering smell of a new blow swimming pool for a bit, but I don't find that too bad. I do wish they had added instructions on how to close the bag. I figured it out, but I can be pretty stupid sometimes.

Unfortunately I lost my phone and key fob while paddle boarding. The phone case is waterproof and had been a good fit for what I needed. I got to confident and decided to take my neck strap off and ultimately lost everything. This is not a knock on the product just a reminder to those looking at this product to be mindful of the case not floating.

I used this dry bag on a recent snorkeling/beach trip and it worked well to keep everything dry. It is not as thick as some dry bags I have used but it is not bad. The phone case seemed really thin and not as well made so I didn't risk my phone by using it. But the dry bag itself worked and kept things dry.

I love how the translucent bag allows me to find things in the bag more easily. I do wish the entire bag was translucent rather than having a solid black base on the bag. That base, however, is a more durable and reinforced part of the bag. The shoulder strap is handy and the side handle is a nice touch. It passed the paper towel test which gives me confidence to bring this out in my kayak. I find the latches on the phone case to be a little finicky. It's also too big for my Pixel 5a. I've got other, smaller ones, but people with big phones will appreciate the extra protection.

This dry bag is generally as described in the product description, with a couple of exceptions: 1) the bag material is described as, "bag is made by 500D ripstop tarpaulin material, vinyl-coated for waterproof protection". This appears to be true only for the lower (black) bag section. The translucent upper section is unreinforced PVC material, and, 2) the vertical seam width is listed as 1.2" wide in the product description. It actually measures only 0.75" wide. The bag does stay dry - the roll-top seals just fine. The included waterproof phone pouch also stays dry, but the closure levers are finicky to use. Clear panels on both the front and back of the phone case allow key strokes and picture taking. Only time will tell how durable this dry bag actually is.

We used this on a kayak trip this weekend. It worked perfectly. It kept things dry, and I like that the window lets me see where things are inside of the bag. Was the perfect size to hook onto the cooler/backpack for the day.
