I have not yet actually look at what the fabric is made from; however, if I had to described the feel of this set in my words it would probably be something between a light weight thin cotton linen mixed with an organic bamboo cooling like material. The vibrant color choices is simply the icing on the cake as we say for this set. Offering more calming colors as well is genus for reaching more variety of people of all ages. I am hooked for life and will never purchase another brand. I actually don’t like microfiber. I think it has an ew texture to it, and it pills in the dryer. Plus it makes you hot. Not these! I have washed them 3 times already. No pilling so far or snags, plus they have stayed sewn perfectly. They are soft as butter and do not make you hot at all. It must be because they are made from bamboo. We got an adjustable bed this year because guys, my husband snores and tosses and turns. Some nights I could have smothered him. The twin xl adjustable beds solved that problem! The next problem was the mattresses were extra deep. I didn’t have anything to fit them. These sheets do not slip off when the head or foot of the beds are raised, even with all of his acrobatics at night they stay on. As a BIG bonus they have 4 big king size pillow cases with a pocket on the end! Idk why sets don’t come with 4 anyway. Like anyone ever just sleeps with one pillow. I would say these sheets are a win. I want another color! ... show more

These are all observations made as I was unpackaging the item: Pros- Soft, feel nice in first use(idk how it will fare after washing yet -> I will update if they hold up post wash) Relatively affordable Cons- Extremely thin - you can definitely see the underlying material and will need to double sheet/pillow case Color is NOT as vibrant, rich, or pigmented as depicted -> fitted sheets are a very muted purple and straight sheets are a grayish color with a purplish tint Pilling before I finish opening the package, so if you are hoping to affordably elevate your Lenin collection long term- this is not he product for you. If you just want sheets and like purple-adjacent items and don’t mind aesthetics or have no issue buying more sheets soon-> get these sheets I am unsure what lavender is now, I am questioning my understanding of color I’ll try to add pics if I return to update, I still have the straight sheet unused and it can be used to bc compare pre and post wash ... show more
