I went back and forth on this product for the longest time due to the highly mixed reviews both on Amazon and other websites. I am so happy we decided to purchase it. We LOVE this comforter and have gotten many compliments. It has a very shabby chic or almost romantic farmhouse look to it. As others have said, it is not the heaviest comforter, but it is not as thin as other reviewers made it out to be. My husband and I tend to get hot anyway, so it really is the perfect weight for us. I believe it is well made, and I do have a sewing background. Now the fabric is polyester, but really looks like a cotton blend in person. I haven't had to wash it yet so cannot speak to how it will hold up, but looking at the seams I believe it will do just fine, especially on a hand wash setting and just hanging it to dry. We have the King size for our King mattress and the width is perfect, just the right amount of overhang on the side and at the bottom. I am really so pleased with it and Amazon had it for the best price! ... show more

The design on this comforter is very nice and it's comfortable. We sleep with a sheet under it and it keeps us warm. Only complaint would be the layer on top isn't attached to bottom layer and it's thin so it can look baggy in some areas if I don't pull tight and it can look wrinkly. I would buy again though still! Pillow shams have got to be my favorite design for pillows as it has a deep lip so the pillow insert doesn't slip out or show ... show more

This bedding is very beautiful. Before I purchased it I read the reviews and seen people were disappointed that it was light weight. I didn't mind that, since we live in TX and we are hot nature. But the quality is not the best. It is a very thin cotton, it would be better if they made it with a down comforter in it, to make it more high end. If I had purchased it at the retail value of $400+, I would have returned it. But I got a great deal, so the quality is at that price. The only thing that I was disappointed in, The comforter does not fit as in the picture. I would advise, if you are purchasing this and you want it to reach to the bed skirt or further I would purchase a size up. I should have ordered a California king as on the far side of my bed the comforter is so short barley covering up my sheet. ... show more

I saw this comforter and couldn’t resist. I’ve been redecorating my bedroom, and this is exactly what I was missing to complete my boudoir look. It flows beautifully and looks so elegant. I can see how it would be itchy, with the ruffles, but I’m using it as a bedspread rather than an actual blanket. My only issue is that the pillow shams are a little narrower than my king-size pillows, but I was able to get them in finally. Overall, well worth the money! ... show more

It’s a beautiful cover, but for as expensive it is I expect better. The ruffles on the cover are itchy and uncomfortable, but on the other side it’s very cozy. It does look cheaply made though… overall I give it a 6/10. After having it for only a month now I’m already thinking about getting another cover because if you sit/lay on the cover the ruffles are so uncomfortable because they’re itchy and prickly. Also when I washed it brown dots showed up all over it and this has never happened to anything white I’ve ever owned. ... show more
