Updated review: I am updating this review because the seller worked with us until they made sure the issue was resolved and we were happy with the coffee table. They offered to ship the same coffee table free of charge, and followed up until we confirmed everything was good. We are happy with the look and function of this table. -------- Overall it’s relatively sturdy and has good storage space, although the plastic things on the sliders are not great. First problem: it came with scuffs in a lot of places, and secondly, some of the holes/pieces did not fit right, as can be seen in the pictures. I have a lot of experience constructing furniture and, say, compared to IKEA or some others, this is clearly not designed as well or manufactured as consistently. It looked alright but looked better in the pictures, and the little stickers to cover the holes don’t even match. Overall would recommend getting another one.

UPDATE - So, after my admitted melt down with the first one as I had never encountered an issue like that, the company reached out to me and offered a replacement, which I appreciated greatly. They have also been very attentive to make sure the issue was corrected once the new table was received. The new coffee table arrived and went together without issue. I am still baffled by the first one being the way it was, I have never experienced that in putting furniture together. Anyway, the table itself once put together is nice and sturdy. It has a lot of storage space, which I needed, and I really appreciate the doors. I have a cat that is notorious for chewing on my books, so I can now place my growing stack of to be read books behind the door and keep them safe from teeth. There's actually so much storage, I don't yet have anything to put behind the sliding door on the other side, which is a good problem to have. I did knock a star off because some areas of the wood look covering are noticeably, not coming off, but clear that it is just a faux look, if that makes sense. It can be smoothed down with a finger, and it is on an edge, so that is probably the issue. By no means a deal breaker, I have three cats that will probably make everything look bad given enough time. I would also note that the stickers for covering the cam seal holes don't really match the colour of the table, so I did not use those. I find cam seals can loosen over time anyway, so having them accessible to tighten is preferable. Also one or two places where the rounded corners don't quite align with the top and sides, minor, but I'm offering reasons for the four stars, which is better than the one star. Overall, I am pleased that I did get this coffee table as it was just what I needed. It is a great size, has really good storage capacity, looks nice, and has doors. Also, a good weight and easy to clean as a cat has already kindly puked on it, sorry to share that information. I just sincerely hope that I got the only lemon and no one else has to deal with that again. -----PREVIOUS REVIEW----- I'd like to start by saying I love putting furniture together. A lot of my furniture I have put together. I have never had such a piece of junk. My video (removed with update) is of the cam seals tightened and the side just falling over. The screws for the cam seal don't tighten in the holes, so when you tighten the cam seal, assuming it doesn't shatter like the second picture (removed after update), the screws are pulled out of the holes. I finally managed to get one of the other three sides to work, but holy garbanzo beans. Did I get a lemon or what? And for the price... No, no, no. Would have loved to have got whatever that five star reviewer got. I couldn't even finish putting it together because nothing would stay tightened. I don't think I've ever been so angry with a product. Now I have to figure out how to get rid of this thing. I dismantled it so it didn't fall apart on top of a cat.

First off, I really love the design of this coffee table. It has a sleek look with a large surface area and spacious storage on both sides. Assembly took a couple hours but was manageable with clear instructions. A couple months after assembly, the coffee table started to feel loose and the sliding doors came off the track often. Then one day, I went to move the coffee table, gripping the ends and sliding it on a rug, and one whole side ripped completely off. The table is mostly pressboard and the threading of the screws did not hold very well, like screwing into cardboard. The screw holes going horizontally into the tabletop and vertically into the side wall were pretty weathered (pictured). The good news is that I was able to reinforce the holes with some wood glue and reattach the side wall, and it has held strong ever since. So, while a little extra work was needed to salvage this coffee table, I am overall happy with the product.

Attractive two facing modern coffee table. Nice finish; easy to clean & keep looking nice. Like the easy glide front panels. They provide for versatility in what I might want to hide vs show off. Sturdy. Like that I can use it between my sofas or off to a side wall. Not too ornate but practical, more than ordinary design. I can feel comfortable with feet or wine glasses atop.
