It took me two days (I didn't want to scratch my paint) to install the right rear flare. i believe it was cut too short, it wouldn't meet the clip when pushed, so i had to move my truck next to my trailer, put both feet on the trailer and do a body press to get enough leverage to make the edge connect. Also, the provided screw/clips to attach to two of the body fender holes is stupid. The color is brass (on a dark fender flare? WTF?) and the head of the screw that screws the flare to your fender is barely big enough to not slip through the hole. The ones for other trucks may be ok, or this may be a fluke, but i would have picked a different brand. All in all, they look great, but were so hard to put on, i will need to cut the clips with a Dremel if i ever want to remove them...definitely not as easy as the video showing them going on a Chevy. ... show more

I bought these for my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 mainly due to the looks and the textured finish. After spending an hour putting the bolts in and tightening them some of them would still spin on the flare even though they were tight. I tried to follow the instructions but what they showed as existing screws were not even there and after trying to get them on the clips would not even meet the flare no matter how hard I pushed. By time I got done I could get 3 screws in the front and no clips. Decided to try the rear and even worse. 2 of the 4 holes they said to use matched up and the body grooves on the truck did not even come close to matching how the flares were cut. Even getting them in place I could fit a finger between the flare and the truck and that was with the rubber stripping in place. I even tried to reverse sides to see if it was me but that was not it. Also, on the 06 Ram 3500 you have to remove your Cummins Turbo Diesel emblem if you have it. Now I have no emblems and no flares. Returning these as fast as I can, ... show more

Do yourself a favor and research on other websites what vehicles this fit before you order, Amazon's description isn't that great in this aspect. I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 and these are a perfect fit, ALL holes line up exactly, and the body lines are true and tight. Only downfall was that like some other buyer's said not all the decorative bolts tighten down all the way, I fixed this by putting some silicone on the back side where it will never be seen now that they are installed. The install is simple and should not take you more than 2 hours to put all 4 on. ... show more

Just installed these on my 2008 Ram to cover the beginnings of fender rot. Before I installed them I prepared the small rust areas and painted with POR15 - I also got up inside the fenders from the bottom and through the tail lights and sprayed everything I could reach with Wurth Cavity Spray...hopefully these two things will hold off the rust for a while. I had to open up a couple of the mounting holes with a drill to be able to get the flares to fit tight to the body of the truck. All in all very satisfied and I like how they "add" to the look of the truck. ... show more

It's a good product but the rubber gasket that goes on the inside is difficult to apply and keep on. if these flares had the rubber gasket already installed on the flares then this would be a 5 star product as it sits. i'd give it more like a 3.5. if the rubber seal was already fitted and glued on the flares the installation time would probably reduce 60%. Everytime you have to bend the gasket to go around one of the curves for the door the rest of the gasket would come out. I got it on but it took much longer than necessary and now i noticed one of the rear gaskets started to slip off so i'll have to remove it and reinstall...I will say Amazon has the absolute best price on these though.
